Ladbrokes is back with its latest Premier League acca, sharing its five picks for Saturday and Sunday’s jam-packed schedule of English top-flight football.
Chelsea’s trip to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday features as part of our five-fold acca, which can be placed with Ladbrokes with odds of 20/1.
After a thrilling 4-4 draw between the two sides in November, we’re going with a Man City win this time out, with Pep Guardiola’s really clicking into gear over the last few weeks.
Premier League acca
Liverpool to beat Brentford – 3/5
We kick things off with the 12:30pm kickoff on Saturday, where Liverpool travel to Brentford, hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points, if only for a few hours.
Liverpool may be without the likes of Dominik Szobszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold, both of whom are missing through injury, but the returns of Joe Gomez, Alisson Becker and Mohamed Salah should give Jurgen Klopp’s side enough to get the three points against a Brentford side who, in truth, have struggled this season.
It won’t be easy for Liverpool, we’re certainly not saying that, but the Reds should have enough in their starting XI and on the bench to pick up the win against Thomas Frank’s side.
Aston Villa to draw with Fulham – 5/2
Many will be predicting an Aston Villa win against Fulham, but Unai Emery’s side haven’t been in the best form over the last few months, only winning two of their last seven games in all competitions.
And now, star midfielder Boubacar Kamara is out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury, while Diego Carlos is also missing with a muscular issue, meaning Villa are quite thin on the ground in terms of numbers.
As such, with the game taking place at Craven Cottage too, we’re going with a draw between Villa and Fulham are part of the second-leg of our Premier League acca from this weekend’s fixtures.
Man City to beat Chelsea – 4/11
Man City are a totally different side from the one that conceded four goals away from home against Chelsea in November of last year.
Now, City have found their groove, as they always tend to do around this time of year. Guardiola’s side are firmly in the title race, and will go one point ahead of Liverpool at the top of the league if they win their game in hand.
Chelsea historically might have been a banana skin for City, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side haven’t been playing nearly well enough to pose a threat problem for the reigning Champions League winners.
So, for the third-leg of our Premier League acca, we’re going with Man City to beat Chelsea, with odds of 4/11.
Tottenham to beat Wolves – 8/15
Next up, we travel to London, where we’re going with Tottenham Hotspur to beat Wolves at 8/15.
Gary O’Neil was dealt a huge blow this week when it was revealed that Matheus Cunha will miss the majority of the remainder of the season through injury. The Brazilian ha been at the forefront of everything right with Wolves this season, and he’ll be a big miss for the side.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have almost all of their key players back now from injury and suspension, and captain Heung-min Son is expected to be able to start his first game since representing South Korea in the Asian Cup.
Taking all that into account, we’re going with a win for Spurs at home to Wolves this weekend.
Man United to beat Luton – 4/5
An away trip to Luton isn’t easy for the best of sides, but for the final leg of our Premier League acca, we’re going for Man United to maintain their unbeaten run in 2024 with a win at Kenilworth Road.
Rasmus Hojlund has really found his feet as United’s striker, allowing Marcus Rashford to appear more refreshed and energised out on the wing. That’s now all, as Kobbie Mainoo has been a real breath of fresh air in the middle of the park for the Red Devils since the turn of the year too.
In Sunday evening’s game, we’re going with a Man United win away from home at Luton, which forms part of our five-fold acca with Ladbrokes that can be backed with odds of 20/1.
