Buck Creek Winery is a family-owned vineyard located in Indianapolis, Indiana. They offer tastings for only $10 and have a wine list that updates frequently. Red, white, sparkling, fruit, and ice wines are available for sampling.

This was an excellent place. Even though they didn't have electricity, it was still excellent. The owners were very understanding and courteous. Broad range of wines, it's a must do on your winery list.

Amy Glisson — Google review

We love a good stop at a winery and wow what a great family owned business! We loved talking to the owner, not only was he very informative but also had great stories! We can’t wait to return. Thanks for the hospitality and delicious wine. Cranberry was our favorite but all were so good.

Wendi Pommering — Google review

Enjoyed the evening w/family, enjoyed the band, enjoyed the wine. Until we needed to use the facilities!!! There wasn't any except (1) portal pot and that was pretty disgusting!!! I would give them a 5 🌟 if it wasn't for this.

Barb Klein — Google review

Really enjoyed our time at Buck Creek Winery today! Found it via a quick search and were super glad we did. We each had a tasting (6 pours) and were able to swap glasses. Then we split a 3rd tasting to finish out the day.The owners were fun to talk with and I enjoyed the stories that went with the wines.Would have liked purse hooks under the bar. 😉🤣Definitely recommend a visit!

Elizabeth Miller — Google review

Very small tasting room, but wines are great. $10 for a tasting of 6 wines. Over 36 wines on their menu. Cheeses, snacks, and Chocolates for sale in packages. Owners were very nice and knowledgeable. They do have perks for wine club members and ship over most of the US.Most wines are under $20 with sweets around $15. Best part is that they are just a few minutes off of the 465 interstate. Great location.Good stop on the way across the county. Also great that they are open on mondays! Would love to see it in the summer with more activity.

Holly Allen — Google review

My friends and I had a great time at this winery last summer. 3 of us had the wine tasting, and they even had something non-alcoholic for our designated driver. The gentleman at the counter was very informative and friendly, and we ended up buying a couple of bottles, which all tasted great.

Jo L — Google review

Great tasting experience at Buck Creek Winery. I'm a Hoosier now living in Sonoma, California, and I work part time in the wine industry and I am a former wine writer for various Northern California and nation wine publications.Suffice to say, growing up in Indiana I despised the sweet wines we are known for making and I was a bit nervous about what I'd expect - especially given that the label looks like something you'd find at a hunting cabin wall versus a modern day winery. But, we aren't in California anymore Dorothy.I came into this tasting with an open mind and a goal to only taste wines using Indiana grown grapes (no fruit wine or wine using imported grapes from CA, OR, WA, etc). Our tasting associate was down to earth, informative and friendly. He answered all my geeky questions. I was very pleased with his knowledge about the wines and winemakng process, as past experiences with Indiana wine tastings have often been less than informative.I felt very overwhelmed looking at the two page wine list - 37 wines! I selected six (it's $10 for six tastings) and I chose estate and Indiana grown wines and one cider:-William Loyd Reserve (red blend)-Seyval Blanc (white semi-dry)-Forget Me Not (Traminette)-Grady's Hard Cider (heirloom apples from a few blocks away)-Pink Ribbon Rose-Autumn Blush (Catawba)I was tasted the William Lloyd first, which was very confusing, as I would generally taste a guest on a dry white wine first, but, whatever. It was the only wine I chose on the official "dry" list, so that's what my first wine was.Overall, I enjoyed the William Loyd, Forget Me Not and the Hard Cider. Those are the three I left with. The Seyval Blanc was really interesting (acidic with a strange bite) and I look forward to trying more of those at other wineries. The Pink Ribbon Rose was bearable and the Autumn Blush smelled like it was corked upon opening and pouring, but, I was told that was "just how it always smelled." I could not get past the scent of that wine when I tasted it. The rose-orange tinted wine is their most popular wine, which I cannot comprehend anyone liking. The wines I took home are dry. The red reminded me of a slightly tannic, but comforting and warm full-bodied merlot or syrah-based red blend I'd find back home. A good easy drinking, week night red.The Traminette is Indiana's state grape and this was my first taste of it since I left the state. I really enjoyed it. Its parent grape is Gewürz and it's got delicate floral and fruity notes, but nothing over the top. Really nice wine. The cider was semi-dry and just plain tasty.I noticed glasses of wine were being served in plastic cups, so I opted out of that. They were also selling wine slushies to go in big stryofoam containers, which was hilarious and very Hoosier.Overall, I was pleased to find some wines I enjoyed and look forward to returning to the future to try Buck Creek's other wines. Cheers.

It is beautiful place to visit. While we were tasting the delicious variety of wines they had the wine steward gave information on the wines. We purchased cheese with crackers & sat outside enjoying a nice summer breeze with a glass. Then we strolled by vineyards.

Tanya Grays — Google review

We love this winery! Kathy was great. We all got $10 wine tastings and were able to sample 6 wines. I had a question about a flavor other than what was on my list, so she gave me a sample of it too! Everything we tried, we.loved!! You cant go wrong with any of them. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Sharlene Dillander — Google review

Had wine tasting party with friends... and this place was perfect for it. The wines were all good and the service - Joe - was fantastic. Would highly recommend this as an Indiana winery to visit.

Bryan McCorkle — Google review

Been stopping at this little hidden gem, just outside Indianapolis, for over a decade! Absolutely love the sweet dessert wines, especially the Roadhouse Red. Wonderful, friendly owners, and top quality wine. They have a great variety, do tastings to find your favorite, and you can even order online when you realize you didn't buy enough😉 Our hearts go out to the family who recently lost a loved one in the line of duty. The care they put into their product is evident, so we hope this review helps in some way! You won't be disappointed:)

Great service and fun. We had an amazing server. Our group was in Central Indiana for a friends' reunion, and we stopped by for dinner. The pizza from Greeks took a while, but it was SOOOO worth it. Everything about the place was fun.

johnnystir — Google review

I give this place 6 stars for great beer. However, when the actual manager is not there the service is -4 stars. Especially when the assistant manager has a problem with one of your kids. Spent an entire hour sitting at a table waiting for service in a place that was emptying out. I was served one beer and checked on again. Will say though that when Jay is there all of this review would be completely the opposite.

johnny hill — Google review

In from Chicago for the Eclipse. Fun spot to hang out at. Great crowd. Family friendly as well! The pizza there is delish but about the beers! Had a blast and will def be back.

Scott Schraeder — Google review

Went for the beer and food truck. Place is friendly and fun. Most Saturdays they have a food truck and this one was excellent. Had a great time and the waitress was great. If you want more information they have an FB page, that's were I found out about them.

Dale Dillhoff — Google review

You can't go wrong coming here for delicious beers (variety too) & the pizza, breadsticks, salad - bacon spinach is the Mrs. favorite. We find ourselves coming here once a month. It's great having a local brewery that has great brews! Huge fan of your rye IPAs.

Eamonn McCann — Google review

Good variety of beers. Nice open building with ability to open up a big door for fresh air. Always nice staff. And the Greeks pizzeria has quickly become a favorite.

Rob Flask — Google review

ALL of the beers are well crafted.. there is a flavor and style for everyone.. my favorite- The Barrel Aged.. strong but a kaleidoscope of flavors. Have a gourmet pizza while you are there too.

Jonathan Cooper — Google review

While we've enjoyed some very good beers here many times, and they've encouraged bringing in your own food, without having a working kitchen, we were turned away from bringing in a local pizza. Mind you, this was in place a month ago, and today (Nov 17, 2020) their website only mentions a Foodtruck this Friday, and Tyner Ponds "Date to Date," which we had checked prior to heading to Greenfield..Just not a smart management decision - we took our Pizza King home and drank a Dark Lord with it!

Brandon Cooper — Google review

Having recently moved to Greenfield we were looking forward to trying a local restaurant & a brewery at that! We experienced the worst service I think we have ever had in a restaurant! It wasn't very busy when we 1st arrived. There was 1 unsmiling/unfriendly waitress & 1 guy in a black t-shirt with a Skelton design. There were 4 of us at our table. Waitress asked 1 of us what we wanted...brought that drink, then asked the next person...she came back 4 seperate times! I had a flight of 3 beers...never did she ask if I wanted to order a beer or anything else when the flight was gone. The black t-shirt guy literally dropped the food on the table & kept walking. I could go on & on about the bad service. By the end it literally became comical it was so bad. Doubtful we'll be back. The food was good...may order Greeks pizzeria as a carry out.

Chris Alstott — Google review

Really liked the beer and pizza!!! Brought some back home…

Wladimir Meskelis — Google review

The asian waitress was super friendly and asked if we been here before ( we haven't)and without asking brought us a couple samples of their most popular beer. Not our style that we drink but that goes above and beyond. For me my two beer choices were ok, nothing to rave about. The wife really liked hers. Not a big fan of the pizza place inside though.

Craig Knor — Google review

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PIZZA! Got the BBQ Chicken and normally I eat 2 slices, this time....4, it was so good. I also got a hard cider that was super delicious. The staff was super friendly. My visit to Greenfield was made perfecto by stopping at here.

Maureen Leland — Google review

Love that you can get Greek's Pizza here. Highly recommend the Hawaiian and the bread sticks. Also love that they added co*cktails to the menu. I had the Mezcalita recently and really enjoyed it. Staff is always super friendly. Recommended for great pizza and good times.

Tyler Wardrop — Google review

Great environment, servers are always great. Nina and Lea are awesome and my 9 year old loves coming here for pizza. I come for the IPA!

Isaac Dannelley — Google review

So the family and I went to the Wooden Bear to enjoy some time together and have some pizza play some bingo. We have only gone like two other times which both times the waitress always cleared our table. We finished with the first set of pizzas and set the boxes on the table behind us. We got the second set of pizza’s ate stacked the boxes at the end of our table. We had glasses and such and bingo cards on the table. All of the sudden this man came dragging a trash can around our table and to the table we set the boxes on. He then started slamming the trash in the trash can and said by the way there is a trash can right over there for the future. Ok first of all we did not see the trash can from where we were setting. Second all you had to do was tell us and we would have cleared it ourselves. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional. Here is a picture of where the trashcan was from the view at our table. We didn't see it until the man pointed it out. P.S. the waitress was kind and so that was nice. Just thought the way he handled it was a bit aggressive when there was no need to be.

Lizzy McGill — Google review

Excellent beer and several varieties to choose from. Staff were friendly and pizza looked good coming out of shared kitchen.

Jason Camis — Google review

We love this place. It’s very welcoming, with good service, yummy drinks and fantastic pizza. We love the extra crispy pepperonis! We’ve gone almost every Friday for the past month or so and the staff recognizes us now. Great music too!

Jessica Leck — Google review

We were here for Trivia night and it was so much fun! We also had pizza-the Chicken Bacon Ranch was delicious as were the bread sticks. We'll be back for sure!

Jessi — Google review

Wooden Bear is a wonderful place with amazing service. The staff here makes us feel at home and are always so friendly. I read a recent review where a lady was talking about a snarky server and one who didn’t understand what they wanted for their friend’s birthday…I know both those servers and they are amazing and always so kind! They are packed some nights, so maybe have some patience!I recommend this place for great beers and a friendly atmosphere!!

We stopped here in August on the way from Ohio to our home in the Chicago area. It was so worth the stop then, that we immediately made plans to return in early November with a friend to attend the premier of the 2+ hour version of the movie Hoosiers. The return trip and visit was enjoyed as much as the first. Bob and Merv are two of the most passionate, inspiring people that you will meet, and they make sure your visit to their museum is the best. If you visit - and you should - please be sure to consider making a charitable donation to support their good work.

Just happened to stop by because we saw their sign on the main road thru town. I've been watching this show every fall since it has come out. I am so glad that they kept this place exactly the way it was in the movie. They let us shoot some hoops there and got to go down to the famous locker room. The lady overseeing it for the day was a gem! Full of information and so kind to show us around. I got to learn what was true of the "based on a true story". I was surprised. You gotta check it out.

Patrick M. Clark — Google review

If you loved the movie Hoosiers, this gym is a must-see. It's the actual location where they filmed. Almost gives you goose bumps. Great piece of Americana, too. Oh, and they let you shoot baskets, too. How awesome is that!

Bob Carignan — Google review

If you like history and basketball, this is a place you need to visit. Hoosier Gym is where most of the game scenes for the movie "Hoosiers" was filmed. Great atmosphere and nostalgia.

Allan Hughes — Google review

I came here for a work meeting and loved it. The 1936 floor was beautifully restored. So much dedication has gone into preserving this space. Nice work to the locals and investors. Who saved it from the wrecking ball.

Tom Boyer — Google review

A magical place to visit that brings back amazing feelings about the movie. The people who work here couldn't be friendlier or more knowledgeable.

Craig Moore — Google review

Awesome nostalgia. Such a cool historic gym even if the movie hadn't been filmed here. Knowledgeable volunteers and a great gift shop selection.

A Shirley — Google review

If you are a fan of the movie "Hoosiers" then this is a must-visit place! This gym was still in use as an elementary school gym when the movie was filmed in 1985. Years later it was restored to the "Hoosiers" gym as depicted in the movie. There is no entrance fee but they have a gift shop that is a big source of their funding. You can walk all over and/or get a personal tour. Any fan of "Hoosiers" or Indiana high school basketball needs to visit here!

Steve Engle — Google review

We took my son’s basketball and swim team here and rented the gym for two hours. What an amazing experience. Huge thanks to the volunteers you work so hard to keep this treasure open. I encourage everyone to visit and support.

Chris Francis — Google review

I’ve traveled the country searching out different filming locations. From the “Christmas Story” house in Cleveland to the Eastern Sierra of “Tremors” fame. The Hoosiers Gym tops them all!

Dorsey Kindler — Google review

Really cool place to visit! Loved the iconic gym and locker room! Gotta be sure to support places like this! Admission is donation only, gift shop is reasonably priced!

Zak Windle — Google review

Absolute, PHENOMENAL place to play. My daughter and her team had the privilege of playing in this historical gym and grabbing a 35-14 victory for the BGC Thunder. If given the opportunity, we would love to come back and play here again.

Dizzology — Google review

An absolute hidden treasure in Indiana. A gem. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and super friendly. I was enthralled by the place. They also sell Hickory gear. I am so glad we saw the sign on the highway and stopped. A must visit if you love the move Hoosiers and are in Indiana.

Mary McDaniel — Google review

Such a neat experience from really wonderful, thoughtful caring guides. A beautiful town with a gem famous for a movie but really become a point of pride

Marc Tomik — Google review

What an amazing piece of Hoosier basketball history! Watching a game there is perfect! Staff is warm and friendly too! ❤️🏀❤️🏀❤️

Pamela Hoeing — Google review

If your looking to get to see the gym from Hoosiers this meets all the expectations! We had a great tour and the gym is in amazing condition!

Ryan Crosby — Google review

They are closed on Sunday, but my brother-in-law is a big fan of the movie. So, while we were traveling from California, we went by for him to at least get some outside shots. As we were there, they were taking down the amerrican flag for the evening. They asked if we wanted to see inside. Got a tour by the wonderful caretaker. What a finish to the day. We are so grateful to them. Keep up the great work!!!!!

Cool little tree growing out of the bell tower

Backroad Xplorers — Google review

Yes, it's a real tree. It just appeared with the seeds blown by the wind or dropped by birds. And it's growing. The county clearly helps it along as it's a tourist draw.

Bruce K. — Google review

A very unique sight on a traditional courthouse square. Also has a veteran's memorial that is worth seeing, too. Not often that you'll see a quote from Calvin Coolidge in stone, but this is a good one!

Jeff Phillips — Google review

It's exactly what it says it is... A tree growing out of a tower.

Ryan Carney — Google review

If you’re in the area it’s worth stopping by the town square to view this local icon. Plenty of options to get photos.

Mark Cooper — Google review

The Friends of Fred Foodtruck Festival was pretty nice. Delicious food and treats. My granddaughter especially liked the mini donuts and flavored ice.

Very interesting tourist attraction. One proof why being lazy (not cleaning the roof) can pay off, haha #funny #indiana #ExploreUSA

Gerald Lao — Google review

Most towns have a little something that makes them unique . . . but a tree growing out of the top of courthouse. The Courthouse Tree is a very unique sight growing 110 feet above where you would expect a tree to be growing. The original was first noticed in the early 1870's.The Veterans Memorial on the Courthouse grounds is nicely done. The Town Square is nice with many locally owned small businesses and others in the area. There are places to gather and eat, get a cup of coffee, shop, and get a tattoo.

Lonnie Perry — Google review

Beautiful tribute to all of our veterans. I loved the variety older architecture in the town. We were able to take a lot of beautiful pictures of the courthouse and surrounding area. Truly worth going to

Park

Hiking, biking & horse-riding trails around a lake for boating, fishing & swimming, plus campsites.

We loved this campground! It was quiet and had bathrooms and showers close to all sites. The park did need some ground work but besides that-great stay.

Jenni Hecht — Google review

This is a really nice park. We rented the group cabins for several days and had an amazing time. We did some bike riding. The trails were really good. Also some of the group rented kayaks and had a great time. There is a lot of things to do in the park plenty of trails to walk or bike. The cabins we rented I would only rate at about 4 stars, but the kitchen, dining hall, and the activity room was great! They had a nice fire ring as well. Would highly recommend!

LT H — Google review

Beautiful park! Located off US50 in Indiana, heavily wooded area. Lots to do, great walking trails, picnic and playgrounds, boating and fishing. Booked online my site# 071 was listed as a moderate slope but in my opinion it was steep. Bathrooms were clean, good showers with lots of hot water. Enjoyed my stay here.

AM Check — Google review

Enjoyed the park even in the rain & snow.Sites stayed somewhat dry because they are paved with picnic table on a well packed stones area. Unfortunately the grassy area did end up a bit swampy.Covered bridge was cool & made it to the top of the dam. There is a really nice swimming pool & camp store. Planning on camping there again.

Chris Modlin — Google review

We stay at the campgrounds every labor day weekend.. Just like advertised, they come through..Campground host is totally amazing.. Any problems are quickly and efficiently addressed.. I would recommend this campground to everyone of all ages.. Bathrooms have showers and are usually immaculate.

Kyle Swearengen — Google review

Great place to camp and enjoy nature. The pool & lake are fun for kids when camping or for day use. The trails we hiked were well maintained & had some great views.

Rebecca Vibbert — Google review

We greatly enjoyed our recent camping trip to Versailles State Park. While it would be fantastic if water hook ups were available at more of the sites, it is a nice little park. You have to be mindful of the raccoons though if you are in a campsite, the backs up to the woods because they will come and steal anything and everything they think they might be able to eat, even if you have a bag of chips sitting next to you while around a fire. The shower houses are clean and well-maintained, and we will definitely return again in the future.

Jenn R — Google review

This park looks like fun all year round. They have a nature exhibit in the building across from the pool area right near the lake. So many beautiful stops for nature photos and lots of fishing spots. This is Definitely a place that could be fun for the whole family, team, troop, or just a couple walking around.

Maria McGill — Google review

As a non-Indiana resident, it cost $9 to enter the state park. I did a half marathon here, and it was gorgeous but very hilly. We saw a few hikers and several families. The campsites looked really nice (as we ran by)! There was a lake and the views were beautiful. The creeks that run through are really nice. The trails are well maintained if a little muddy (it IS spring). I definitely look forward to bringing my kids with me next time!

Elizabeth — Google review

The campground was quiet and clean. We didn't get to take a mountain bike trail while we were there, but there were quite a few available. Trail 2, the hiking trail, was marked as an easy trail, but towards the end it was steep going down and even harder climbing back up. Other than that we enjoyed camping there!

Jadis Lov — Google review

This place is so clean, peaceful and serene. All the people that make this place possible is friendly and helpful. One of the DNR guys by the name of Rick, AKA Ranger Rick, is very helpful, friendly and was courteous and informative. This is by far one of my favorite campgrounds and I will be coming back! Shout out to all the people that work here and makes this park a special place to come!

Janet Hutzler — Google review

We LOVED this park. I am sorry to say, better than Brown County. Not that Brown County isn’t beautiful, Versailles had bigger sites and in our view was just as beautiful without the crowds.

Julie Yant — Google review

This park is my happy place. It's where I go to kayak and fish and usually I always catch at least one fish every time I go. Which is usually once every few weeks, some times I go once a week. But it's quite. There's lots of wildlife and the scenery is good.

Historic engines pull trains through the Whitewater Valley to a restored 19th-century canal town.

My family and I went to experience polar express, it was a surprise to the kiddos as watching polar express on Christmas Eve has become one of our most loved family traditions. From the 17 year old to my 9 year old, it was a special experience that everyone enjoyed! I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for a unique and fun family outing.Tips-Find a bathroom before you get there! There are no bathrooms on the train and trying to use the bathroom while waiting is sort of chaotic with the people getting off the train as well as the staff trying to use the restroom between trips. No need to get there super early unless you have a party of 7 or more. It was pretty confusing and nobody was there to direct people. Parties of 7 or more meet down the track, everyone else waits towards the top of the entry outside of the access door from the shop.If it is cold, stay in the shop as long as possible, they will find seating for you and your whole party, it was a smooth process!Last but not least, have fun, its magical and should not be stressful!

🚂 🔔 🍪 ❤️🎄👩‍🍳✨🎅Our night excursion to the ‘North Pole’ on ‘The Polar Express’ TM with hot chocolate, cookies, dancing chefs and elves, a reading of the book, our tickets punched by the conductor in the shape of our initials, and a visit from Santa. Reading of the book and music from the movie plays in the overhead speaks. Very magical and a memorable holiday experience that I’ll always cherish and hope to make this a regular outing. Took my kids and grandkids. Highly recommend. Buy tickets earlier in the year. Very nice old train ride experience with the sound and movement of the train. Also the Easter Bunny Express was a fun day too.🐰 🍬 🚂 💐 🐣The ‘Easter Bunny Express’ at The Whitewater Valley Railroad Grand Central Station ~ Connersville, Indiana. We left the train station depot on our excursion and headed south, with a stop at the Robinson Whitewater River Campground to the bunny patch for the Easter egg race and to have pictures with the Easter Bunny.“The Whitewater Valley Railroad is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit operating railroad museum dedicated to preserving a historic branch line railroad, the restoration of railroad equipment, and the conduct of educational railroad programs.”

We absolutely loved our trip to Metamora! We took the Wild West themed train as a couple and will be returning with kiddos. The simulated shoot out was the best part! We also took the entire family for the Pumpkinliner event. The kids were in awe of the train and loved picking pumpkins! Prices are very affordable, and the staff is phenomenal. We can’t wait to ride the Polar Express for Christmas!

Really enjoyed our day with Whitewater Valley RR! Fun ride, interesting history and nice lunch in Metamora.

Kim Krumel — Google review

This was alot of fun. Perfect time to go. Only 28 people on the train, not too hot.

Lisa Underhill — Google review

Nice to do. Nice experience. There's not much to do for kids in Metamora. Only one place sells beer, just an FYI. 🤷‍♀️😉

Elaine Hughes — Google review

Our family rode this excursion train on October first this year, and had a wonderful time. This railroad is a thriving concern with 200 volunteers, and this shows in the number of projects being undertaken and in the quality of the work being done. Our caboose was authentic in every detail, & all present had a very good time. I will recommend this outfit to our friends.

Rode the train to Metamora today with a 4 hour layover! Had an absolute blast! Was part of a large group of 19 and they accomodated us very well! Everyone we had contact with was nice, polite and very knowledgeable. While the train is in motion it's hard to hear the announcements, over the train and the chatter, so snag a seat close to the speaker if you can, or just do what I did and verify what you thought you heard when they come back to get you. LOL! (NOT ADVISED, bit it did work) The scenery is rural Indiana, so most of it is gorgeous, some is junky backyards, ALL of it is fantastic! Best hour and 20 minutes of the day for sure, and you get to do it twice! Our coach was #1, originally built in 1934 and was in great shape! It was awesome to think this was once THE way to travel in style! Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful time. The train was older and I think it gave you a feeling of how the travel may have been a hundred years ago. The little town we visited was really cool. All the cabins lined up in what must've been the layout of towns years ago. Great experience. Glad I was able to experience this. I will be back.

It is always a great time especially at Christmas. People walking and riding through town in the horse carriages. It's a wonderful town and time to be there!

Online we followed the hours .. We drive two hours for our anniversary of 20 years for the wife. To it being closed fully. We went to a restaurant that was open by sign but closed .they made us a dinner and explain to us its only open Saturday and Sunday. Untill 8 pm . because if covid related issues.

Cute little town. The fudge was great and the gem mining was a cool experience

Alex Kissinger — Google review

Quaint little village from the good Ole days. Worth the trip should be really nice during summer and fall .

Roger Morgan — Google review

The viste was good there was only maybe three stores open and maybe next year there will be more stores could be open . We missed seeing the beautiful Christmas 🎄 lights .

Kelly Boyce — Google review

My husband and I went to the Christmas walk here . Doesn’t have the same childhood memories but we still had fun !

Small little museum on how a working mill operates. Just a 5$ admission fee.

C Sparks — Google review

Well I guess how much you will enjoy this place depends on your expectations. Are you looking for a nice day out? Does a small town with quant shops sound interesting? Then go. Leave your 5 star, high adrenaline expectations home and relax and enjoy

Jeff Morhous — Google review

Come visit the town of Metamora and you will Absolutely fall in love. The employees of the Grist Mill are so welcoming as well as knowledgeable. I highly recommend Metamora for a Amazing time.

Caralee Case — Google review

This was a very neat little part of Metamora. Metamora itself is kind of like stepping back in time. Very friendly people. We went during "Canal Days" via the Whitewater Valley Railway. It was a large fair that seemed to take over the town. Lots of outdoor vendors selling their wares. Good deals and good fair food.

Zac Baker — Google review

Love this place!! We go every year at Christmas time!

Ashley Pea — Google review

A really cool old grist mill and museum that serves as a nice focal point for the town of Metamora. Would have liked to explore it further, but my 10 year old was itching to go "gem mining".

I was eagerly waiting to visit this place for almost 3 years. I finally did and I'm so glad. Amazing staff and magnificent beasts. We did interact with the Wolves and it was such an incredible moment. Although Wolves are wild animals, petting them(domesticated) for a few mins felt like they were just huge huskies.

Suprith Som — Google review

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday. It was an incredible experience. One I will never forget. I will forever remember this as the best day of my life. Wolves are one of my favorite animals. The volunteers are super friendly and knowledgeable. You get to interact with the wolves and the volunteers talk about the wolves and their eating habits along with their likes and dislikes and other various information about wolves. They answer any questions you may have about the wolves. My volunteer guide knew so much about wolves that he had learned through volunteering for the past 8 years or so. I felt very safe because the volunteers and the owner educate you so much before you are even able to interact with the wolves. Safety is their #1 priority as they only allow you to interact with well mannered and friendly wolves. I recommend going there if you have a passion for learning about these beautiful creatures. The owner was wonderful. She was very nice and friendly and actually goes into the interaction area with you as well. The animals look very healthy and are well taken care of. The 3 baby wolves actually climb on you and may chew on your hair or ears. They may scent mark you by rubbing their face and body on you. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! Their gift shop is so cute and smells so good. It reminded me of pecan pie baking in the oven. They have some cool military memorabilia hanging up and can offer you some nice items for purchase. I will definitely go back for another visit.

Elizabeth Bennington — Google review

Really unique experience! You are able to walk above the wolves and observe for free. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They offer interactive tours where you can go inside the wolf dens and give them scratches and pets.

E. H — Google review

What an incredible place to visit and see these amazing animals up close and personal in their enclosures. The owners are some of the best and nicest people. I've been there a few times and always look forward to going back.

Jeremy Stickney — Google review

This was a great experience for me and a "bucket list" event for my daughter. The wolves were absolutely adorable and beautiful creatures. And the staff were terrific, too. The volunteers that gave us the interactive tours were professional, knowledgeable, and really loved the wolves. We plan to go back again, but the staff said the best time to visit is when it's cold (the wolves are less sleepy). It's free to visit and see all the wolves from a big catwalk, but the interactive tours require a $50 donation each. Children must be at least 5' to go on the interactive tour. If you like wolves, it's totally worth it!

George Galloway — Google review

Wolf Creek was an amazing experience. If you take the time to really listen to the staff, you will learn so much!! The wolves were so sweet and very affectionate! I would recommend going in the fall or winter when the wolves have a full coat and are not getting over heated. If you go in the summer, arrive early so you can be the first group in. The owners priority is the health and wellbeing of the wolves and will stop visitations of it gets too hot. I enjoyed spending time with these magnificent creatures so much that I am definitely going back.

Paula Petsel — Google review

Visited this place for the first time last weekend. It was one of the best experiences ever. They charge $50 per person to interact with the wolves, and it is well worth the price. The Wolves were very friendly and excited to see everybody. We got lots of wolf kisses. It had just rained so we got quite muddy. If you visit, wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. They have around 30 wolves there and they are very well taken care of. Thank you for such a great experience!

The Rev — Google review

Some important pieces of information. I believe in order to go into the habitats you must be around 55 inches tall. And prices are upwards to $50 a person. So keep this is kind if you wish to pet the wolves. Otherwise the place was absolutely beautiful. If you visit, I highly recommend going when it's colder for more active wolves. It is free to go stand on the viewing areas which is a large deck which overlooks some of the habitats. It's definitely worth a visit and will be a good memory to look back on!

Liberum Finis — Google review

This place is very cool! We did not get to go in the dens and interact with the wolves because it was later in the day and they were done with people!! We learned a ton from the girl who took us around. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. They even let us help feed the beautiful creatures. So interesting to learn about and witness their habits, and their likes & dislikes. Definitely going back early enough to go into their den and interact with them next time!!

Kelly Barber — Google review

This was my second time going and it was beautiful. To be able to learn, touch and experience the wolves up close is absolutely magical and spiritual.

Michele Clemmons — Google review

Wonderful, knowledgeable people who explained patiently but passionately to my girls all about the wolves, their names, and their origins. Only open 11am - 4pm on weekends, but even getting there at about 3:45p on a Sunday we had a great experience. There is an "interactive" option where you can go into the enclosure, but I didn't get details on that other than that you must be over 5 feet tall, and that there's apparently an additional charge.Visiting is free, but of course donations are encouraged and there's a cute gift shop with a small collection of wolf-themed shirts, bracelets, books, coffee mugs, and the like.Highly recommend at least one visit, especially if you, like one of my kids, are passionate about how amazing wolves are!

Very friendly staff and a cozy environment. Wine selection tends towards sweet which is not my cup of tea but is common for the area so if it's your thing you will be happy. The dry offerings were pleasant and we took home a couple bottles. Definitely worth a visit!

Chris Valdez — Google review

We had a very pleasant afternoon here. After tasting a variety of wines, we each had a glass of our favorite and shared a cheese plate on the veranda while enjoying the view of the Ohio River. The winery is situated on its banks and you can watch the speed boat and barges as they go by. A nice place to stop and relax.

Stacey Chester — Google review

Lovely little destination on the Ohio. Outdoor seating and wine tastings. Cheese plate is a good value if drinking wine gives you the munchies. They have an excellent dry white. Stay away from the sweet red even if it is marketed as most popular.

Lynn Hamilton — Google review

Very nice location with patios open onto the bank of the Ohio River. Multiple levels, coveted and open, indoor seating too. Wine related gifts, beautiful setting!

Susan Scott — Google review

Pretty Ohio river view, nice covered deck to sip wine on, friendly staff. Decent wines. They dont have own grapes but they make the wines themselves. Ok wines. They have a good bourbon infused one!

Contemporary property offering polished rooms, shows & dining, plus a pool & shopping.

We stayed overnight so we could see WAR in concert. We had dinner at Stadium Bar and Grill, which was very good (steak and salmon). It was less than a 15 minute wait for a table. Makayla G made sure our drinks were full and checked on us during the meal. At the concert area, Danielle H made great bloody Mary's. War played well and kept the audience engaged. What a nice, intimate concert venue. At Nosh, Carla K was happy to serve us ice cream. Kathy at ETC was helpful with our purchase. Every employee's encounter did not disappoint. Cage cashier Alyssa was helpful with the rewards program. Thank you for a clean room, easy parking and a lovely experience.

Lots of things still unavailable, like no spa or salon, pool closed, couldn't walk around golf course. Just the casino and 3 restaurants to keep busy in.To add an edit. May 2nd 2022 a giant win, over 11,000$ made it worth the trip. Still no spa, pool closed until Derby. It's a fabulous pool area.

This place couldn't be more convenient than anything unless it was in your backyard and not to mention it is right on the river and now since Hwy 42 between Warsaw and Marland Dam is open it only takes you about 10 minutes to get there from town for a night on the town, for a concert, fine dining or a great round of golf along with some of the best rooms available in this area for the money. Best value all the way around no matter how much or how long you spend enjoy each and every day

Great location, very well decorated, clean with large spaces and glass ceilings. Machines all worked, the gaming area was clean, well lit, no musty smell (like some places!). Very enjoyable and I doubled my money!

Hadn't been there in years and it has really went down hill! Smelled like smoke on every floor! Actually people were smoking! Old slots, no poker, no people and it was a Saturday night! Won't ever go back!

Always a great place to relax, have fun, or just let loose. I absolutely love this place and the staff is always very friendly and professional. The rooms are always nice, clean, and accommodating. My favorite get away! I can't say enough good things about the Belterra. They've always treated me with respect and generosity. The atmosphere is so welcoming. The flower display in the lobby is always absolutely gorgeous!! Especially during the Christmas season. I have been frequenting the Belterra for 14 years now and plan to continue on for as many years as possible. Thank you Belterra 😊

Candy Hobbs — Google review

They don't have valet, bellman, shops are closed and the spa is closed. Used to be able to get comped rooms, but that is not the case any more. Stadium restaurant was good but they were under staffed and our wait was too long for drinks and food. Steak house was great except you needed reservations even for the bar! This used to be our favorite place to go to for years, but we will not be back. There are actual resorts you can go to with all the amenities.

Sherri Finley — Google review

Not sure what happened to this place since the pandemic but it seems the slots have been tightened down tighter than grandmas canning jars. I have had several visits this year and haven’t been able to get any momentum going… I know Belterra “sometimes you have a run of bad luck”… I get that, I have been gambling world wide for 30 years… when you can’t even bang a LINE hit through several thousand dollars on numerous machines it becomes a venue that I won’t be returning to regardless of the “bad luck”. Slots is a negative anticipation event. We all get that. When you get zero play time on a sizable bank roll it feels more like theft as opposed to “negative anticipation”. If this was the first trip this happened it wouldn’t be a major deal but it has been a consistent occurrence since 2020.Buffet gone. Valet gone. Permeated smoke smell everywhere are all reasons this property has lost its former luster. If you can’t have fun in the casino then there really is no reason to pop in at all. Good luck if you’re there. You’ll need it 😉

Andy Tunatin — Google review

My wife and I had a date night, overnight stay I should say and it was nice, the room smelled a little like dogs, it wasn't horrible but not great either. Later, we found out the floor they put us on is apparently the only floor they allow pets. I dont know why they would put people without pets on the pet floor... We ate at 19, it was good but the baked potato wasn't baked long enough and the lobster was overcooked. The steak was excellent, and the roasted garlic was a treat. It was a Friday night and the casino wasn't very busy, most of the people there were 70 or older. It was kinda said, a bunch of end of lifers sitting there pushing their retirement away. Also you can smoke everywhere, I used to smoke for 20 years but now I can't stand the smell, they should have a smoking and non-smoking area. The smell in the casino was horrible. They also didn't have a valet service. Weird!! The staff was really nice and seemed to know most of the end of lifers by name. Again said... Over all we had a good time and it was nice to get away from our normal reality for the night. 50/50 if I would recommend to a friend.

Gaines IN Life — Google review

Room had barely warm water coming from shower. Sink was hot. Clump of hair in drain floating around as water turned on. Told front desk this morning and just stared at my husband and said you have to let water run....through two people shower?!?? He didn't care and did nothing about it to take note. Normally great room but got older grungy room

Karen Dutton — Google review

The rooms are vary clean. Lots of room, big bathrooms. The casino has a lot of slots. There are a lot of newer games too. This is a great place to stay. You can relax and play all the table games too. Great place to visit.

David Uhl — Google review

It looks like a nice hotel just a little outdated. All the floors smelt like cigarettes. The carpet was old. No one came to clean the rooms and I was there for 3 days for my company conference. I found a bed bug in my room. I was bit me in my hair and on my face. They gave me another room and there was a bug in that room too. I found that bug after being in the room for 3 seconds and pulled all the covers back on both beds. I will never return to this nasty place.

theresia pettiway — Google review

I spent my birthday weekend here! Omg the food at 19 was absolutely fantastic and the service all over the facility was A++. The room was large, nice, and the bed/sheets were also clean and luxurious. I miss the lower $ tables, but highly enjoyed the hybrid consoles for Black Jack, Texas hold em, and roulette! Updates to almost all slot machines gave us hours of excitement and playtime. We stopped at Nosh several times for a coffee or sandwich. They also have a sports bar and a sports betting area. I was impressed with staff at every location. Parking was plentiful and the grounds were well maintained. I'll be back soon!!

Jessica Mattingly — Google review

It was great few years back! Now, payout is really, really low.. they programmed the slot machines to less payout and less bonuses.. also, they turned off the ATM/ cash redemption kiosk so that it doesn't take vouchers.. and the machines doesn't take any vouchers and only accepts cash.. when you leave the machine with the vouchers and try to use it on other games.. it doesn't work. Spend $3K on a machine (single machine) within 1 hour time frame and does not give bonuses... most they would give is 20X of your bet.... ridiculous.. I know it's gambling and taking chances but losing $10K in 1 day and no comps, nothing what so ever... never going back...

Sung Chon — Google review

The rooms at Belterra are comfortable and stately. I enjoyed my overnight stay and used many of the amenities available at the resort including the pool, casino, and multiple restaurants. I love that the casino has two levels with one offering newer slots and table games and the lower having many older style machines not offered at other casinos. The bar staff was friendly, as well as the servers on the casino floor.

Jessica — Google review

I have been going to this resort since it opened. It does needs some updating in the rooms. Bed super comfortable, food is available, casino wasn't too smokey, but went on off night, check in and check out smooth, staff nice, bathroom is huge. Downfall is they need refrigerator and coffee pot in rooms and they definitely need to bring the buffet back. Will be staying again.

Ann Marie — Google review

Rooms are nice. The bed was comfy, but the walls were paper thin. You can hear people talking in normal voices as they go down the hallway. I could even hear our neighbor coughing during the night. Restaurant prices are EXORBITANT!! Not great for the money.

Rick Gist — Google review

Wonderful resort, friendly staff, great rewards program. Was upgrade to suite. Beautiful room. Casino has great non smoking area, although could add more machines, and ventilation is pretty good in main casino area. Food at Nosh rated on separate review.

Ann Marie — Google review

Hotel needs some updates, staff was pleasant and helpful. If you come during off season do not expect anything other than 1 dining option to be open during the week. Was here for work and stayed Sunday through Friday, only 1 dining option and 1 quick service food option available. The gift shop wasnt open either ( until I mentioned it ). Initial room had some issues but staff moved me quickly.

It's always a great place to go for gambling. The casino is very clean and well maintained. I had not been there in a few years before this year. I used to go annually on my birthday but the benefits are not as good as they used to be.

Chris Flaherty — Google review

Since Boyd gaming took over it has not been the same at the casino. Concerts are great, however waiting in line to get concert ticket is not good business for the casino, would seem to me you do a will call so you can pick up tickets without the line. I would rather have those people in my casino spending money instead of waiting for hours to get tickets. Rooms are always clean and nice, food is great too.

Lisa Broughton — Google review

The casino has 3 floors and all the new slot machines. It's big but also cozy. The rooms are some of the nicest and most comfortable around. Though I have not made the Host level, I have had interactions with one (Andrew) and he was very helpful and accommodating. I use my Boyd players card and receive Free Play, food comps and a comped 2 night room stay every other week. Don't know how you could want any more. And just about an hours drive from Louisville it's a nice getaway. Soon to be my #1 favorite casino.

JD — Google review

The staff was very nice. The room was nice and clean except the hair in the bathtub. The casino was hot and the atmosphere of the casino was boring. The music is very low and the casino was quiet. Please make sure you don’t talk or laugh in your hotel room the guest will complain. Overall ok getaway but I will not be returning.

Always a good time spending a day at Prefect North Slope! We had a great experience! We were able to walk directly up to everything and get our equipment quickly. The employees that worked the lifts were very friendly and helpful as well.

Charlie Garrelts — Google review

We had a good first time experience and we even brought a season pass. Since we live in Lexington, KY now, this was one of the few places for skiing within an easily accessible range from us. Obviously, when we lived in NY, there were plenty more mountains and resorts to choose from. With that being said, Perfect North Slopes had a small “mountain” with limited trails. It’s definitely great for beginners and maybe intermediate skiers but I don’t know if it would be as good for experience skiers since the slopes are so limited. Our first experience was on a Saturday, not the best choice since lines were long (especially the board rental lines) but nothing we didn’t foresee. We even got our 7 year old his first ski lesson here and the instructor was so kind. We will definitely be back to try snow tubing. We went back to try snow tubing and it was a much smoother experience. There was still a lot of people since there was a school trip that day and all the lanes were filled. Not sure if they’re always this busy but so far, pretty busy on both trips. The staff was really nice and I’m glad they took the safety seriously. It was nice to see them patient with the kids.

Natalie Kasipol — Google review

I visited Perfect North Slopes for some snow tubing with the kids over the Christmas holidays. While we did have a good time overall, we were somewhat disappointed with our experience. We purchased the two-hour pass, but due to inconsistent management of the lines, we were only able to enjoy six runs down the slope. The staff seemed to have varying approaches to managing the lanes, with some allowing all lanes to proceed simultaneously, while others restricted it to just one lane at a time. This inconsistency led to long waits and diminished the value of our two-hour pass. Despite the fun we had, we couldn't help but feel let down by this aspect of our visit.

What an amazing place . This place offers adventure during winter. The tube sliding, skiing etc is super fun.Went with groups of friends and everyone had good time. We plan to visit this place again.Management- the management is very good at keeping all things in check right from ticketing to the associates helping people during the whole adventure. This is safe for kids as well with lot of fun.Parking - The place also offers good parking(free parking) and restaurants.Rentals- You can also rent out jerseys and shoes just in case you miscalculated the cold.

What an operation! From the moment you get your ticket to the time you leave, this is a great place to be. Employees are happy and helpful, staff on the slopes are knowledgeable, food area has nice options with fair prices. Area is clean and well stocked. Rentals are priced well and in good condition. All the runs were well maintained and a ton of fun. For an area that doesn't get a lot of actual snow, this place was on a whole different level than what I was expecting. One thing I didn't enjoy, having black oil dropped onto my jacket from the lift.. could y'all maybe fix that? Had a blast and cannot wait to come back!

Paul Leason — Google review

2324 season first day report. First of all, kudos to PNS for continuing to make major improvements across the site, for getting open with such little snowmaking cold, keeping season passes affordable, and continuing the bonus days tradition for loyal passholders. It was a rough first day though. I picked up my pass in person with signed hardcopy waiver and picture at the early appreciation day to avoid issues, but was still blocked at the gates. Fortunately there were a lot of personnel there to help out, override, and keep things from jamming completely. They said to see the desk, but I was able to fix it online from the lift by re-signing the waiver digitally from an email link, and uploading a new selfie to the ticket purchase site. The new red lift has some growing pains. It's much slower now for singles due to lots of duos. Unlike orange where you lean on the pre-carpet gates, don't lean on the red gates. It seems to glitch them and often skips a chair load or two killing the additional 4 person throughput. Red also stopped a lot, seemingly for no reason. Orange was way less crowded and operated smoothly for a change. It seems that the grading to the lifts is more uphill so prepare for some pole work until they can make a lot more snow and level things out. It seems the days of skiing right up to the red chair on low crowd nights are over. I'm sure things will improve as the season progresses, but be ready for some kinks in the early season.

Came all the way from Texas. First time snowboarding ever and had a blast even with the light rain (unfortunately I didn’t check the weather before planning my trip) but if you can ride here anywhere better will be easy. Staff and people there were super friendly. Would definitely recommend it for beginners. I did not want to leave🥲, even thinking of moving closer just because how great of a time I had. I recommend you take with you some muscle relaxers/ibuprofen 😅. Also be safe and rent a helmet especially as a beginner but most of all have fun!!!

Perfect place to hang out and stay active with family and friends during winter. They have amazing slopes for people who loves to do skiing or snowboarding. For families with younger kids, snow tubing is the best! We went here and brought young kids and toddlers (2 years old is the youngest) and we did snow tubing for 2 hours. Our kids had so much fun they dont want to leave. We have not seen much snow this winter and our kids are obsessed with playing in the snow so this was the perfect activity for them. We went here After Christmas around 7pm and the crowd is just enough for us not to wait too long. Amazing and fun experience for sure!

I have brought my high school club here for our annual ski trip for 4 years now, and we have a great time each year! Check in for our small group is always a breeze, and the staff at the desk (as well as everyone else) is always so kind and welcoming. We noticed while getting our rentals they had installed new lockers you can use all day with a key code rather than a key. This is a great improvement! My students are all beginner level, and they have so much fun on the trails. The beginners class is so helpful.Today we lucked out and didn’t have to deal with a crowd. We had some light rain, but it didn’t ruin our time skiing! We didn’t have any lines in the lodge or out on the trails. We can’t wait for next year!

What an experience!Never heard of snow tubing before and was really interested to try it.I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back again. We also tried the food. The food was okay but their fries were amazing! If you ever go there, definitely go with a group of friends to enjoy your trip.Had a blast for 2 hours, didn't want to leave! The Perfect North Slopes should be on your to do list.

Nicole Daaboul — Google review

The snow tubing adventure was effortlessly enjoyable. I am glad we bought the tickets online to avoid long lines. The whole experience was easy and fun! There were two thrilling slopes. Waiting on the higher one was more but worth the fun!Renting equipment was a breeze. They have everything you need and the prices are online. Tubes are included in the price and once the time finishes, you are allowed for one last time. There were multiple cozy fireplaces, which added a warm touch to the experience and much needed with little ones. There was a small cafe that offered good options. The washrooms were also clean and easily accessible.Definitely going again!

Asma Siddiqui — Google review

The owner takes good care of the slopes here! Weather is what is but they do their best to make sure runs are open. They have fast lifts, new ones, too and it is family friendly and affordable. They even have a DJ on Saturday nights!

Went snow tubing with my daughters and grandkids after Christmas. We had a great time. I think some people don't realize this is not a theme park style ride, but "real world" Environmental conditions were good, but not ideal and it was crowded. We had to wait in line to be admitted to the snow tubing area, but this does not count against your 2 hour window. People were very friendly and there were no issues. The staff is great. We were able to cycle through a ride down the smaller hill about every 10 minutes, and 15-20 minutes down the big hill. Everyone had a lot of fun. And we enjoyed sitting around a fire pit afterward. Highly recommend if you enjoy outdoor, winter activities and not expecting a Disney style theme park ride. Perfect North is a great place to have fun.

My husband and I had an amazing first-time skiing experience at Perfect North Slopes. The place was great, and the beginner ski class instructor was incredibly nice, making our learning process enjoyable. We had a blast and would definitely recommend it to others!

Yisel Vera — Google review

Perfect North was a great time. It’s a great size and the staff is very accommodating. The slopes are great for beginners and experienced skiers/snowboarders. I love every second of it. The routes were well maintained and people generally had room to stay out of, or get out of the way.

Cody Prevatt — Google review

Pretty good skiing for Indiana. I came with no expectations, but left impressed. The $10 beginners lesson was excellent. The snow was a little icy, but the slopes were good and I will be back.

First time here. Beautiful facility. Love how open the gaming floor is and the WIDE variety of machines. 99.9% of machines operational. Employees friendly and helpful. This facility is further away than others but I'd gladly go back. Even though masks aren't required, I felt pretty good with their layout and openness of the floor. We didn't eat here today so can't address any of the restaurants. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful place. Was so clean. Great price. I felt like I got a great deal. Lovely time. We ended staying two days. Good breakfast for cheap. Great atmosphere

Shelly Jennings — Google review

This place was hands down awesome. Huge variety of games. Extremely fair food prices. Very very clean. Beautiful decor and lighting. A very large place to enjoy. Easy access to multiple restrooms. A great air filtration. You can't even tell that people smoke inside. We will definitely be coming back

Andrew Werndli — Google review

The rooms were good for the price, definitely not the nicest place I've ever stayed but good. We didn't spend that much time at the hotel. I did hear some trains come through during the night. The tracks must not be close to the hotel, but you can hear the whistles blow. It didn't bother me much. I'm a deep sleeper, but I imagine if you are a light sleeper, it may affect your night's sleep. The room was clean. So all and all, a great place for the price. I only gave 4 stars because the lady at the front desk had some attitude when we went down to add some nights to our stay.

Sorry this is so long but it's worth it...Both my adult kids have autism, & for my daughter's 25th birthday, all she wanted was to see the casino (or at least the actual casino entrance) & pavilion. From the time we entered, we were blown away by how beautiful the place was! I love the grand staircase! The map in the ceiling- Wow! Everyone was so nice and courteous! We met a really nice man from security and other employees who were so respectful, patient, and nice and, when they found it it was my daughter's birthday even wished her a happy one! They made my son feel like a gentleman ( his words). He loved meeting people. Everyone was so polite, that he felt very comfortable, even tho this was a new place and he normally gets nervous when we're somewhere new... When we save up some money, we intend to return so she can fulfill her wish to try one of the slots... My son wants to play roulette lol ...Thank you all for giving my daughter the birthday she wanted and giving my son an experience where he could actually enjoy himself! God bless each and every one of you...

It was the first time in several years that I had been here, and a lot has changed. They no longer have the buffet. We ended up eating at the Barstool Sportsbook Restaurant. I had a Pulled Pork Sandwich, French Fries, Cole Slaw, Pickle, and co*ke Zero. It was delicious! It cost quite a bit, but it was good. We then wandered around the casino, trying to find machines to play. I wanted to get pictures of the casino, but was too caught up in the place. Perhaps next time. I won $6, and probably should have stopped at that. Most of the day, I didn't have much luck. I have my best luck at the quarter machines, but didn't have much luck with them today. My only complaint was that I thought it was supposed to be non smoking, but there were non smoking sections, which weren't very big. Sometimes you could smell smoke.

We came here for my work Christmas party and it was a success. We enjoyed ourselves. The room was beautiful- no problems. The hotel and casino were very pleasant. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming. We played Texas Holdem and the dealer was very helpful and the people at the table were too. People were very nice here. We will be back. We ate breakfast at the coffee shop breakfast buffet the next morning and again it was nice. The girl was sweet and everything was very good. Thanks for great time.

Always love coming to Hollywood and never had a bad experience. Staff is always inviting and lots of selection in games/slots/tables. Wish there was a pool at the hotel. Other than that, all good things to say!

shawn ferguson — Google review

Great time at Hollywood for new years eve! Place was packed, but they had plenty of staff, lots of beer and food easily purchased without much wait. They had a dealer for every single table....all night, and lots of jackpots were being won everywhere you looked!! Thanks to all the management and staff for their hard work on a night that was what I can only believe was a capacity crowd!**Note** my rating for their rooms was entirely based on remarks I heard from guests who were staying. We drove in, after making last minute plans, had a great time. But unfortunately hadn't reserved a room for the holiday eve., so after collecting our winnings we eased on down the road.

First casino I went to and I had a blast with my friends. They've got two levels, one smoking and one not. Blackjack was my favorite game and my friends played the slots with me. The place is beautiful too and if you go to drink, I recommend the dirty bong water. It's very sweet with a bit of sour so perfect for a beginner like me. Even the bathrooms are fancy too! I felt like I was rich even as I spent my last fiver. Definitely recommend this place!

Wow! MY 1st time here and had a great time! People are nice Julia was great! Machines are modern and kept very clean! Free sodas and smoking allowed in some areas. Loved my time here and can't wait to come back here . Hopefully by then I would have earned a free night! Absolutely lovely place

The place is clean, but the building needs a bit of an upgrade .The staff was great... no real wait staff, though . I'll be back. I do recommend this casino to my friends... I would love to stay the night there.

dj Flex — Google review

What a great place, first time staying and the room was great. Very nice and clean. The casino is well spread out and very busy a little disappointing that the newest games they only had a couple need more for that amount of people. But all in all a great stay and visit. Definitely love the whole atmosphere here.

Dale Box — Google review

Classic chic hotel that is a time capsule sharing the eras of today and yesterday. Nice modern decor yet true to its style and homage to an unforgettable period in time. There is also a Casino for your entertainment. The casino is just walking distance from the hotel. Parking spaces and adjacent parking garage also walking distance from the hotel. Comfortable bed and bedding. Nicely decorated rooms. There are no microwaves in the rooms. The only available microwave is located in the main lobby. Nice and friendly staff. Decent prices.

Miguel Hernandez — Google review

The hotel is dated. Hallway carpets were stained. Room's bathroom could have been cleaner.Casino was fun. Well designed. They do allow smoking, which wasn't great for us.Bartenders were generous with pours.Entertainment was good. Lots of great music! We dined at the Final Cut steakhouse. Service was great. Our server ( whose name I think was Christina) was very helpful. She suggested the scallops and they were very good. Hubby had a Caesar salad and a crab cake. Everything is a bit pricey, but portions are huge.Overall, it was a fun overnight. Gambling is not typically our thing, but I'm sure we will be back.

Darci Schirmer — Google review

Best casino we visit! Love the atmosphere...from the friendliness of other players to the staff and the wins! Has it all the newer slots and tables games. Always a good time and we usually win

Lisa Spicer — Google review

I didn't have a room, service was okay. The girl at the bar across from boogie nights was stand offish. Some people rude who worked there out side of boogie nights. I went 7 years ago and it was a better experience tbh. But boogie nights itself was fun as always. I'm just shocked to see how busy it is now compared to the past!! And happy to see some familiar faces out there still dancing!

Rachel Bradley — Google review

Resort fees- for nothing. We were told a room was ready when we arrives an hour early but it would cost $15 for early check in. We said we would wait and asked if they could hold our bags until check in- nope. Room was outdated and worn. Train goes by the window of room and is extremely loud and lays on the whistle at 11:30pm, 2:30 am and 6:30am. So forget getting any sleep. Employees were all very unfreindly in hotel, casino and restaurants. Restaurants were terrible. They have decided that there is no longer any need for any comfort or customer service.

P T — Google review

Great place to stay since it's within walking distance of the casino. The only bad thing was the train that was right outside room. You would get woken up all through the night from the train horn. Doubtful anything could be done but that was the only drawback of the stay. Staff was suoer nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean. Plus the construction work at 7 am was a little annoying but now we are just knit picking

Victor — Google review

This place is so…interesting. Your risk of developing lung cancer increases 10 fold the second you enter the casino area and the hotel room has sh*t smeared under?? The toilet???? And we told the supervisor and she only gave us 40 off the room lol….I contemplated taking a picture but decided I didn’t want literal sh*t…on my phone. I had fun being drunk and losing money though!

Sequoya Jowers — Google review

I'm giving this experience 2 stars on the whole because we really enjoyed our time at the casino. The drinks were great, the food at the restaurants was good, and the casino had a lot of great machines. That being said, I will not be returning here because of our experience at the hotel. I was enticed by the offer for free rooms, so we stayed two nights: one of those nights we got for free and the second night we had paid for the room. When we checked in, we were asked if we wanted room service around 10 AM, and we said we did. When we got to our room, we ran into the room service individual Hunter and had asked for a few more waters because we have medications to take throughout the day. He repeatedly asked for "an arm and a leg" in exchange for more water. It wasn't until later that we realized he may have been requesting a tip. We always tip room service before we leave, and the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. The next day, we did not receive the room service. We had only two bath towels in the room, and there were three of us. We saw Hunter in the hallway and requested more towels, and the discussion resulted in a bit of arguing. Ultimately we were told that we needed to ask for more towels from the front desk due to hotel policy. We called the front desk and were told there were no towels. Periodically throughout the day, we called and visited the front desk to ask for another towel, but they still didn't have any available. As a result, I stayed there for two nights and was not able to take a shower.Another thing about the room is that there weren't any opaque drapes to close; there was only a sheer white curtain. Outside our window were very bright lights, so we weren't able to sleep very restfully.I'm sorry to have to write a review like this as we wanted to get away and enjoy ourselves, but I hope management might see this and make some improvements.

Chong Guilfoyle — Google review

I'm editing this review to be more specific and less cryptic. A guest was getting aggressively physical after having beer spilled on him, he was threatening and pushing people that weren't even part of the incident, Hollywood threw everyone out. I just think it's bad policy to throw out level headed, non aggressive people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Especially when they don't fight back, aren't intoxicated and willing to carry a calm conversation about the whole incident. Plus the person who started it by spilling the beer tells security it was their fault and not yours.I said my peace. The rest isn't negative.I will add, the security person who escorted me to my car (on my request because that other guy wanted to physically harm me) was really a nice person. I'd give him 5 stars if I could rate him. That's for Hollywood since I know you read these and you'd like to know how staff is performing. I would have expected him to be more aggressive like the police were but he was actually really good and extremely polite given the situation. That's 1 positive you have going.Man we were having a great time too. I was with 50 other people including 2 of my kids and countless other family members. Hollywood you soured the night for a bunch of us. Haven't been to boogie nights or the casino in a long time. All in all, it's a great place to go to, and my advice is, if something happens, get as far away as quickly as you can because you're getting kicked out if you're near the wrong person. Enjoy and keep safe!I added 2 more stars since we were having a great time before the incident and I did win a fair amount of money.

Nice big casino and hotel. This casino is on a ship that’s docked while you enjoy your card games, slot machines, and drinks. There a few levels that you may try your luck to visit in this casino. There is smoking and non-smoking areas. Nice and current machines. ATMs throughout the casino. Nice and friendly staff. Good luck.

I would give this place five stars but the air quality in this place is horrible. If you are a non smoker you have a small area that you can sit at with a small variety of machines. This area still doesn't get you away from the smoke since that is were it all accumulates. It is nice because you can step out on the balcony and get fresh air. This is a great place to spend a few hours and it's not a bad drive either.

Just went to check out the Christmas decorations and meet up with family for a little reunion. Place looked very festive! Reindeer were cool too! Didn't check out the boat, but the rest of the facility is very nice!

Probably will be last time going there. Soft drink machines were not working, escalator didn't work. Seems like they removed alot of the slot machines. Was hoping things were going to be better there but no, they weren't. Used to love going there. Miss the buffet's. Omelets were the best!!

It is located in a very cute river town.. Stayed at RV Park and gambled and ate at casino. RV park bathrooms were very clean, I just would have liked some hot water to shower.Ate at the steakhouse it was very good, but also quite expensive.Casino slots took $20 in about 10 seconds, no winning here.My favorite part was seeing all the "landlord special" in their repairs. Absolutely hilarious!

Tabatha Watts — Google review

The casino is definitely showing its age and could use some updating. Dislike that you can still smoke here and you will leave smelling like a cigarette. Yes, there is a “non-smoking” level, but it’s about 15 machines total and not much for those that want to avoid the smoke. Restaurant choices are very limited, and The Lodge section of the hotel was closed up and dark.

Ross — Google review

Bugs crawling everywhere in the hotel and room. Paint peeling off wall. Toilet barely functional. Furniture from the 80s. It was a nightmare staying here. Employees at the front desk treat you like you are the problem. Only one small weird restaurant functioning to serve you to go food...It's like North Korea if you enjoy communism... everything is wonderful

I enjoyed my time spent on the slot machine with mom. I started out putting in $83 dollars was up to almost $500 at one point, cashed out at $69 in about 5 hours so I call that a win,😊 then we had a bite to eat before we left. FUN

Sandra Greenwood — Google review

Only know about the gambling part of it. So what I can tell you, after getting a mailer that said I had $5 free play, decided to stop by since it was close to where I was. Couldn't get my free play, and after talking with promotions, the guy without looking at my cars said nothing he could do. I suggested that they're willing to loose a customer over $5, ok then. Consider it done.

Very clean, beautiful Christmas Casino experience. So glad we stopped here during a visit to Belterra. We enjoyed this casino far more. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Slots seemed a little nicer also. Hardly any broken down machines as we have noticed at nearby casinos.

Tammy Batchelor — Google review

We did not have a room. We made the 90 minute drive to go to the casino. This is an older one cause it is still a boat. It does not leave the dock anymore. It was nice when it used to leave port cause on a nice sunny day, u could step out on the deck on most levels. Even tho it stays in port, this ship has 4 floors. Being older, I was concerned they wouldn't have much in the way of newer games. But they have a pleasant mix of older slot machines as well as new slots. It wasn't over crowded, but had a enjoyable amount of customers. All the employees I dealt with were very pleasurable to deal with. Take the time to enjoy the drive . It is such a beautiful scenic drive, especially in the spring and summer. Get away and savor the relaxing drive and have your fun at a good selection of slots or table games!

It was a great reasonable price hotel. It is part of the Rising Star Casino resort. it is located right across the street from the casino & main hotel. you have to check in across the street at main hotel. There is some nicks & dents but is expected from this price range hotel. There is a shuttle that takes you from lodge to main hotel. Free breakfast is also at main hotel. They have a microwave & vending machines at the Lodge. Perfect get away spot. Very beautiful at Christmas!

The casino is OK but the the room are terrible and need remodeling found co*ckroachs under the fridge the wall paper is peeling in every room the ladies at the front desk pick and choose if they have openings or not I've been told there was nothing available and hung up and called the host and any room I wanted was available they used to serve free breakfast now it's 18 dollars who can eat 18 dollars worth of breakfast the check in is at 4 but the pool closes to kids at 7 so if your not standing at the desk at 4 the kids don't get to swim $ spent here will be a lot less since the new year

We usually use campground, but wasn't sure it was open so stayed in hotel for 3 nights. Top complains was no clock, desk said as they stop working they didn't replace them. I mean they were putting up giant TV in pavalon but couldn't replace a 10 dollar clock. Also they stopped free breakfast, why? Campers would always go over and get breakfast and we did also. No breakfast. So sad. Room was OK..

Need to make some changes with the casino for new players. They don't give u any extra credit. It would help bring in more people for sure. I would never go back to that casino again myself. But the hotel is great.

Price was very reasonable. Breakfast buffet was excellent on bacon days. I'm not a fan of sausage gravy and biscuits but there was plenty of other food that day. Golf course was in good condition and challenging without being overpowering. Pool/hot tub/sauna was a great way to start and end the day. Casino was fun but I'm not a gambler. Staff was friendly and helpful. The patio out back overlooks the Ohio River and is very nice. Everything was clean. I'll be back.

Very informative and amazing place to visit. I love the Dinosaur Exhibit, the history on Dragons “Dinosaurs”. The 4D Theater was enjoyable especially the story on creation. The Stargazer Planetarium was awesome especially the show on Created Cosmos, I loved it. The exhibit on Adam and Eve and the fall of man was very cool. The explanation on how things were before and after sin and how it affected man, animal and plants was wonderfully explained. Highly recommend this experience.

We enjoyed our visit to the Creation Museum. It is a very detailed museum with beautiful exhibits. However, I feel like this is just a one time visit attraction. I would not visit this museum multiple times. The animals were underwhelming, but that make have been due to cold, foggy weather on the day of our visit. The best part was the gardens and the Christmas lights. The lights are beautiful and so are the grounds, even in winter. I can’t imagine how beautiful the gardens must be in the spring and summer.

Amy Justine — Google review

Loved this place. Very informative and well built. The garden in front of the museum was beautiful. The food and ice cream sold were also good. The museum itself was very informative and realistic. The planetarium and the 4D movie theater is definitely not to be missed. I recommend buying a combo ticket if you plan on visiting this place and the ark encounter which is about 45 minutes drive from here.

My visit to the Creation Museum in Kentucky was a truly enlightening experience that touched my heart and mind. As I explored the exhibits, I was deeply impressed by the thought and care put into each display, which seamlessly blended science, faith, and history. The museum's compelling presentations challenged my existing beliefs and encouraged me to think critically about the origins of life. It was a journey that left me with a profound sense of curiosity and wonder. The planetarium shows and the beautiful botanical gardens were personal highlights. They added a hands-on and immersive aspect to my visit, allowing me to engage with the museum's themes on a deeper level.🌱🌌📖🤔

We enjoyed the museum and gardens. A lot more reading than I expected. I'm dyslexic so too much reading is overwhelming to me. In the exit survey I recommended they add an audio tour, possibly an app you can use to listen to what's in the exhibits. All of the staff was really friendly. We were there during the 40 days and nights of music and got to see a great band and a very funny Christian comedian.

This place is amazing!! From the very time you step foot on the property you know this place is special. The property is well maintained and very scenic. There is so much to see. Every exhibit is detailed and leaves no doubt that God created man. The 4D movie "6 days" was beyond words. You are right there during each day of God's creation. You feel the wind, the water, the breath of the animals, every part of his majesty. Words are not enough. We ate at the cafe' for lunch. They have a wide assortment of hot and cold items to choose from. As you navigate through each exhibit you will see such detail. We spent over 6 hours reading and watching and did not quite finish. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you Ken Ham for honoring God through this wonderful ministry.

The Creation Museum was fantastic we went to the light exhibit for Christmas and the museum. Parking was easy and close. Plenty of bathrooms. But the definitely have it all laid out really well. The 4D theatre on creation was good too. Great story. Each exhibit was well done. Jesus and the Cross exhibit was a bit of a let down. I was expecting way more... it was only photos on the wall... BUT... It was still impactful to read the texts. I recommend families go. Young Kids are free and we got our family of 8 in at 159 dollars. It was fun. Parking is 15 dollars or 10 at night.

Simply amazing! So much more than what I was expecting! The displays are truly world-class, and the exhibits blend science, history, anthropology, and so much more through the lens of scripture. The experience is absolutely faith-based, but unlike other museums, the Creation Museum is not afraid to present both sides of the story and empower individuals with information to make their own decisions. You can visit best museums in the nation (DC, NY, Chicago, etc) but this truly outshines them all! The live presentations and 4-D video experiences were one of my favorite parts. The botanical gardens, sculpture, zoo, planetarium, and other bonus attractions are also delightful!

Katherine Bussard — Google review

This was a great experience for our entire family. It may be a little tougher with younger children only because there is a TON of reading exhibits. Don’t get me wrong, the information is definitely interesting and everything was presented with excellence.Definitely make sure to visit the planetarium and 4d theater. The animal exhibit was unimpressive but the grounds and overall experience was well worth the money.

The creation museum is an absolute must see especially if you are visiting the Ark encounter as well. There is so much to do inside and outside it kept everyone in our family entertained! We were also able to feed our family of five for $28 at the Noah Cafe. I was shocked because where can you feed your family of five for $28, especially being out? Wow.They also have souvenir cups for $19.99 each that have unlimited refills that you can use at the creech museum as well as the Ark encounter. My personal highlight was seeing the dinosaur that had original bones in its skeleton as well as the original skull still intact! Just cool to see something like that.Another highlight for us was the different speakers and activities that they have scheduled throughout the day. We bought the 3-day pass that went between the Ark encounter and the creation museum and every day you come they hand you a schedule of the events of the day which was nice! There's a beautiful botanical garden and lots of areas to walk as well as a small zoo and fun animals to see. We sat outside for awhile and watched people zip line across the property, also a fun thing to see!We bought the 3-day pass for the Ark encounter and Creation museum and ended up going to the creation museum one day and the Ark 2 days. Our kids are 8,6, and 3.5 and this is what they preferred and we were wanting to do that too. So much to see and do, you can easily plan to stay a whole day here.

Jess — Google review

It's interesting, but not very child friendly or interactive. There is a lot of reading, and the large summer crowds made it difficult. The Planetarium is $9 per movie, or 2 for $14. Line up early to not get stuck in the front and/separated from your group. The movies are short and just okay. The arboretum is beautiful, definitely worth the walk. The moving bridge is so much fun! My advice is to walk this early before it gets too hot. Overall, the museum was very educational and worth visiting!

Josie Ortalejo — Google review

This is my first visit to the Creation Museum, and I was very impressed with the quality of the exhibits, the friendliness of the staff, the availability of quality food and plentiful clean restrooms. Easy parking too. Some reviewers said you could get through in half a day, but this is not true. You really need to spend the entire day to take in the full experience. There’s so much to look at and a variety of events to attend throughout the day. This is a good family experience with a lot for kids as well. It was a very enjoyable experience and the botanical gardens are lovely. We visited the Creation Museum first, and the Ark Encounter the following day.

Geri Fairbanks — Google review

The Creation Museum was a wonderful experience. We did the Ark Encounter a few years ago, but did not have time on that trip to also do the Creation Museum so this summer we planned another drive north from Florida to Kentucky specifically for the Creation Museum.I particularly loved the way it explains dinosaurs and the age of the Earth. As well as the views of science from a Creationist standpoint versus and evolutionists view.Fearfully and Wonderfully made was a beautiful exhibit. A bit shorter than I expected, but very well done. I did have some explaining to do about what abortion is to my 9 year old son based on that exhibit. There were several areas of the museum closed off. We were expecting it to be a full day and we were finished with everything in about 4.5 hours. The price is high for adults, but admission for children was free. It’s a hard location to find- a lot of single lane backroads and not many signs. Thankfully the GPS routed us there alright.I give the Creation Museum a 5 star because of the content and how well it was done. I was more impressed with the Ark Encounter and would visit that area again.

Jennifer Hunziker — Google review

We loved this museum more than we thought we would. Honestly we just went because it was joined to the Ark and we traveled so far. But we are sooo glad we came! It was fun, moving, educational and beautiful! Highly recommend! Spend all day there!

Courtney D — Google review

The family and I went here as part of our trip to The Ark Encounter. The Creation Museum is a sister attraction of The Ark Encounter. Not only can you learn about the creation of just about every living thing but they also have botanical gardens, a planetarium, petting zoo, shows, a couple of restaurants, gifts shops and more. We spent the whole day here. It was educational and fun.

Fast Food — Google review

An extension to the Ark Encounter. This place was phenomenal! So much to see and learn. I suggest visiting here before the Ark to get a better understanding for little ones or new to the experience. From the 4D show to Noah's Cafe, EVERYTHING was amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 5 STARS!

Wonderful experience and much to learn and ponder about in regards to spirituality. Adults and children will both enjoy this experience. Make sure you have at least a half a day to explore the museum and it’s grounds and more if you want to ride the zip line and sit through all of the video attractions. Food for a single adult (entree, side and drink) will run about $20. Overall is a must see.

Had a wonderful time here. Just happened to visit on Fathers day and their special allowed free entry for Dad's plus kids 10 & under were free. There was so much interesting info to see and read about. Not so great w/an active 2yr old but we made due till the playground and animal expo. Easily spent about 5hrs (not including lunch) and had a great time.

Amazing educational fun filled weekend! Great way to teach your kids and grandkids about who God is and how great he is! A must see as a package with The Ark Museum. Because of the hrs it's best to this one last. Very informative and gives a perspective on his way and the world's way. Highly recommend

As a lifetime charter member, our family comes back often from Canada. The updates they've made over the past while are amazing, and the exhibits have in-depth detail. Give yourself a full day at the Creation Museum to take it all in, and another full day at the Ark Encounter. Plan to take in the live presentations too - there's a lot of great information that they present, and it is 100% relevant to today's culture.

B Hackett — Google review

Loved this place! The exhibits are top notch and very informative. We loved the planetarium and 4d theater shows too. Would love to go back again. It's a lot to go thru in one day. Hopefully they improve the zoo area, it was under renovations, because it was lacking. Their sister site's, The Ark Encounter, zoo was great. I highly recommend visiting both and learn the truth about God's Creation.

The Creation Museum is an amazing world class attraction! We went through the museum and stayed for the Christmas lights. I love the botanical gardens. Everything is designed to make you think about the things that matter. It is a must-see for believers but done in a way that will not offend non-believers.

Monica Sellers — Google review

Just came back from visiting the Creation Museum with my 4, 9, 11 year old kids along with my husband and mom and her husband. They have interesting exhibits that speak to all ages along with 4D movies about Creation. It was so cool to see creation so well animated and love how they always tie in God’s purpose and plan for us. They really drive home the Gospel message and Jesus sacrifice and love. My older kids were at good ages for this and really absorbed everything. It’s done at an intelligent level but not overly wordy so the kids can grasp it too.We came probably 15 years ago with no kids and they’ve added and improved so much. Sadly the petting zoo was closed, though, but it was too cold to venture outside anyway.Worth a visit! Prepare to believe!

Britni Laillet — Google review

This is our place we go when a kid finishes up kindergarten in our family I love seeing all of the exhibits my favorite one would probably be the fearfully and wonderfully made one it definitely can change people's perspective on that topic.I also think it's cool that when you walk into the building you immediately see Adam and eve the first humans.Definitely a place you should take your children .This place tells the biblical truth and compares and contrasts the biblical truth with the evolution. This place will change the way that you look at things for the better. You and your family should really check this place out today.

Felicity Gore — Google review

Unique museum presenting the literal biblical timeline of the story of creation. Multiple detailed interpretive displays beginning with the creation of the universe and following the timeline of history from the biblical Christian perspective. The museum & grounds are generally open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. However, during the holiday season the Christmas Town event is open until 8:30 pm and includes an amazing Christmas light display throughout the gardens surrounding the museum. There are fire pits & snack vendors and limited access to the museum for warming up. A planetarium is available for two different shows at a nominal extra fee. Two additional auditoriums have shows & videos as part of museum admission. Two indoor food vendors and a coffee/ice cream cafe all inside the main museum. There is also a coffee shop inside the welcome center. I would like you to return during growing season, as I can imagine that the botanical garden is quite spectacular in Spring. Parking is convenient to welcome center, so no shuttle needed. Petting zoo is undergoing major construction, so exhibits are limited. Plenty of restrooms throughout.

LR P — Google review

Love it here! Our kids enjoyed looking at everything and really enjoyed the Christmas lights walk. Spur of the moment decision to come and we are glad we did. We haven't been in almost 10 years. They've updated a lot of things and they've made things easy to walk through. Most things are accessible and signs are played where it's not. Note: steep prices!

The creation museum is a wonderful display of creationist thinking rooted in a biblical worldview. I interacted with a number of people who love God and were so kind that worked there. There were several exhibits that demonstrated with evidence and clarity the biblical worldview of creationism. I hope that more people can come and visit. There was an exhibit all about life and the fact that we as humans are fearfully and wonderfully made.It was colorful and beautifully designed.

Overall I have to give the State Park a Five Star experience! We decided to go camping with our towable RV.If you are doing that make sure to inquire about the level of each spot as we where on a VERY steep hill which was hard to level. All facilities seemed decent but we just used the camper for a 2 Night stay. (Me, Wife and Daughter.)There are tons of activities to do! And they are all put on through the park Naturists! Highly recommend especially if you have kids.

It seems to be a very nice area. Quite popular. Some fishing spots are so picturesque it's ridiculous! The park seems to have everything you could want in an outdoor getaway. Fishing, hiking, boating archery, camping, cabins, and probably more I dont know about!

We went camping during Memorial Day weekend. We had an absolutely wonderful time! We camped at the equine campground, it was a delight to be surrounded by horses. We went to the nature center and saw all the cool animals they’re rehabilitating. Then we went to the lodge, got some coffee, then watched the animal encounter where we learned about some of their education animals! The kids had a wonderful time! After that we went to the beach. We had fun at the beach as well, but they hadn’t cleaned up the sticks and debris off the beach yet so that was a bit bothersome. We had assumed they would’ve had that cleaned up with it being Memorial Day weekend. But it didn’t stop us from having a good time in the sun and sand! I’m sure we’ll be back!

Beautiful place to stay. Took my girlfriend and some friends for a weekend to get away. Beautiful lake, boat rentals, game room, warm that’s pool open late, calm friendly bar, comfortable rooms, and above all the perfect place to enjoy the world for a while. For the price of rooms/cabins I would recommend this place to anyone.

Gabriel Beach — Google review

This place is huge. We went to the archery range and walked a trail close to there. It was close to the water, some spots were maybe a little too close, but it was very pretty and the view of the lake was spectacular. We also visited family at the RV camping area and it was absolutely stunning. There is a cute little trail right there close to where we were and it had a little waterfall and beautiful creek views. There is also a burial mound at the end of the trail. We will definitely be going back again, can't wait to check the place out in spring/summer.

Went and visited my daughter who was camping there. The spot she had was really nice, despite those I seen with alot of slopes in the electric sites. We went on a small hike to the Indian mound and came across a waterfall the kids really enjoyed. Trails was nice, despite a few different paths leading in other directions but I used all trails to stay on track.

I have always loved Huston Woods ever since I was a child. When I come back to visit Ohio I always make sure to stop and take a hike on one of the trails. I also love going to see the animals that live there because they can't be in the wild anymore and reside there now. There are restrooms scattered around the park. There are playgrounds for the kids. Plenty of picnic areas and the park is dog friendly, they even have a dog park for your four legged kiddos.

Mollie Stobaugh — Google review

While this is an amazing park, the camping spots are the worse out of any campground. I have been to 20 campgrounds since September. Look at this photo. Would you want to be by another person in this two trailer spot. Also, park in the mud! Glad I am leaving before the eclipse sell out

I loved my stay at Hueston Woods Lodge. We ate at the restaurant for most of our meals and the food was amazing. Their French fries are now my new favorite fries. The lounge is also a great place to get drinks and enjoy a relaxing evening after a long day of hiking. We really enjoyed the hiking trails and all of the geocache locations spread throughout the park. The fossil collection area is loaded to the gills with fossils of many different varieties. I absolutely recommend visiting even for a day trip. The nature center and raptor rescue would be an awesome place to bring kids or to visit as adults like we did.5 stars.

Our tent site was a swamp but it had been raining a lot, so much so, the road to the lodge was under water.

John Myers — Google review

I’ve been here for decades. I came as a little girl with my family, and now I’m able to come with my own children. The lake is beautiful to look at, kinda didn’t like my kids swimming in it because the water is very murky. 🤪 They have boats there and you can go fishing. There are several walking trails. I’ve been on about 3 of them recently. All beautiful. The only reason for 4/5 stars is the beach is kind of icky. There is a lot of geese poo and the water doesn’t look like it should be swam in, but tons of people swim in it so I suppose it’s fine. Haha. I used to swim in it too as a child. But everything else there is great. They have animals you can go and see, and a playground for the kids!

Always been a great park. Neat animals, nice campground, great hiking and mountain bike trails. Lake is calm enough to Kayak. Great overall place. Mountain bike trails too!

mir1cle — Google review

This is one of the best state parks in Ohio I have been to. The nature center is easily a big highlight, as it has snakes, hawks, and bobcats. The hiking here and scenery is about as good as it gets. I saw a bald eagle in the wild here, but by the time I snapped a pic, it started to fly away making for nothing but a blurry picture. Also, there are plenty of restrooms here, which is not something you get at every state park in Ohio. This place is 100% worth the trip.

University

Public university

Expansive public school known for its scenic campus, museums & liberal arts programs.

No matter the season, this campus is a beautiful place to be! It has all the feelings of being in a Hallmark holiday movie.. the campus is absolutely gorgeous..The Fall foliage, to the flowers that are planted along campus during the spring and Summer.. or the gorgeous art and architecture that is around with the beautiful winter snow.. Mami university.. Oxford, Ohio.. is a beautiful place to visit, attend school, explore, live..

Carey Marie — Google review

Its a bit hard to rate an entire university. I'll preface this with the fact that I'm rating from a students perspective and won't be factoring in cost to attend in my review.First, the university is big and beautiful. All the old brick buildings give a nice general vibe to the campus. Uptown is also a nice social hub for the weekends, fit with bars, restaurants, and Bagel and Deli. There are plenty of people on campus to befriend and plenty of clubs to find like minded people with.Second, the classes. I've had great classes so far, not finding any "bad" professors. For context, my classes have revolved around computer science and math. Mileage may vary, I haven't taken every class.Third, the food. The included meal plan gives access to meal halls which have a wide array of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some items, like cereal or pizza, are guaranteed every day of the week, with other entrées being cycled out each day. Its good at first,, but these dining halls are functuonally mean to be eaten at daily. After a while of that, the food quickly becomes just edible. The Armstrong center has a bunch of restaurants that require payment like normal, however they don't accept meal plan swipes or their equivalent value, something I've seen in much smaller universities. This food is actually good, but eating here isn't sustainable for the aforementioned reason. Paying at these locations means you're really paying twice. Once for the food, and again for the meal swipe you've essentially wasted. For this reason, I've taken a star.Lastly, I feel safe on campus. Their transparency with active police activity sent to your email along with their crime and fire reports each year indicate this campus is a pretty safe place to be. Its in basically the middle of nowhere, the campus being its own town. In fact, Miami University outsources their own police department to the town its inside of.

Caroline Rivers — Google review

Campus may look nice but academically they have a lot of work to do. The math department is one of the worst and they don't do anything to fix it. For the cost of attendance, being a student, it is not worth it.

Tent camping in Kentucky during an intense summer heat wave had it’s challenges, but the lovely campground made the best of a very sweaty situation! We had a lot of kids in our party and the campground pool was an absolute life saver for adults and children alike. The pool was right next to a small playground, bathrooms and laundry. All simple and small, but well kept. The campground was very family friendly with lots of kids but very quiet once it got dark.We stayed in site 19 and it was perfect. We had room for larger tent and a couple small tents tucked back near the woods under a canopy of mature trees. We had easy access to the trails and the kids enjoyed playing in the woods near our site. There were bugs as to be expected but the elevation is high enough that there are hardly any mosquitos which made sitting outside much more pleasant! The camp store has your basic things like wood and ice and some supplies, but not much. We did have to do a run to town to get a couple things that weren’t available on site. One warning: There is an absolutely lawless band of trash pandas (raccoons) that run this park at night! The are bold and relentless. Anything left out will be dragged into the woods for their enjoyment never to be seen again! Plan on putting everything in your car when you leave or cleaning up a big mess.

Nice State Park Campground designed for children. Took our granddaughter for a two day trip for the purpose of going to see the Ark Encounter. This park is one of very few that has a pool. Nice playground and miniature golf course. We could not play because they closed the store at 5:00. We wanted to play in the evening. They also have a small Bison heard. You have to take a trail to go see them. You will need to bring an extra long hose for water. Shared in-between camp sites. Some sites are not level so you may need extra blocking. Not the best place for retirees but great if you have children.

So interesting. Great artillery demonstration with people in character. Lots of artifacts and picture boards explaining the history. Easy walk. Mostly outdoors. We had a great day for it. History buffs need to visit. Small museum with more in depth history of the different occupations of the native Indians, the French, British and Americans.

A beautiful and serene place to come and visit, there's a nice playground with updated equipment for the kids. And an even a basketball court further down the play area. The museum is small, but the gift shop has a lot of items to remember your visit by. Seeing the bison is always an experience, especially if you've never seen these magnificent beasts in the wild.

A great place for visitors of all ages! The museum is small but very informative. The loop trail to the salt spring is paved and easy accessible even for strollers or wheelchairs, mostly shaded too. Be warned, the salt spring itself smells like sulphur but that is normal. The trail to the bison (about 10 of them) is gravel and one way in and back out (uphill on your way back out). There is not much shade on this trail but you work your way around the encloser so you can get a great view of the bison wherever they are. They were all right near the fence as you can see! There was very friendly ranger setup right near the bison that was very informative and answered any questions that anyone had.

Great park! Took a day trip specifically to see the Bison and it was well worth the trip. Spent almost a hour just enjoying these magnificent animals!

Andy Edwards — Google review

We stayed at the campground and also checked out the visitor center; and bison area.CAMPGROUND: we were in site 9. We have a 38ft camper. Had to wheel all they way back to the concrete bumper to fit. You must disconnect to fit your tow vehicle. We parked next to our camper. Nice picnic & fire ring. Sites are a bit close together and we could hear kids in a tent next to us easily. NOT REALLY BIG RIG FRIENDLY given the cozy spots and the huge inclined hill with curve coming into the campgrounds itself. Bath house dated. Pool was out of season. Nice it had a laundry facility. No sewer but has dump station. Water hookup was oddly on the opposite side as electric and near the neighboring campsite.VISITOR CENTER: a nice collection to look thru but very small. You’d only need an hour or less to take in everything. The diorama looks like it needs some sprucing up. We walked down to see the bison but they were surveying the paddock and had moved the bison away. Bummer. Trails were maintained.

Cyndi Huffman — Google review

We stayed at the campground for two days. The campground is not that big but clean and well laid out. The washrooms and showers were clean but need updating. The water hookup at some sites is quite far so make sure to have enough hose. The sites are reserved but there are some walk ins available if you come during the week or off season. I do have to say that the woman in the office must have been having a couple of bad days- I'll leave it at that.Seeing the bison and visiting the museum and gift shop was a nice bonus.

John Espinosa — Google review

Very nice camp ground! Very clean and all staff were really nice! We had Easter here and the activities for kids were so fun!

Tiffany McGuffin — Google review

Big Bone Lick was a trip that we decided to make three hours away because of the fossil beds, bison, and camping. While the park is kept up, along with the campsite, the base offering is actually pretty limited. I think my expectations were a bit more considering there were supposed dig sites on the grounds. The visitors center is nice, but very small. The diorama behind it was faded and in need of update. The bison were very neat though we didn’t get to see them up close. Trails could use some improvement. Overall a good but not great place, potentially much better if it gets an overhaul.

Brett McAfee — Google review

The family stopped by today to check out the Bison and the museum. We lucked out on this hot day that the Bison were all out eating grass. They were eating along the fence line, which made it a great experience. Standing a couple feet away from such magnificent and powerful creatures was a treat. Lastly, we stopped at the small museum they have near the Bison. It was way more than I expected, lots on display. Behind the building, they have another display with fiberglass animals from the Ice age. Everyone had a fantastic time.

Paul Fenrich — Google review

Big Bone is a great park always clean, great camping areas, trails and if course the Bison trail

Chrissy Helton — Google review

A very nice Kentucky State Park that doesn't require a full day commitment. We were able spend a couple hours the view the visitor center, walk a couple of trails and see the local bison herd. The trails are well marked. The loop trail at the Visitor Center is an easy walk. Going back on a couple of the other trails past the bison can get you some elevation changes, but I consider moderate in difficulty. Overall we hiked about 3 1/2 miles in less than 2 hours. Plenty for what we wanted to do. The visitor center has a lot of information about the history of the site. Well worth a stop in visit. It's not big so 15 to 30 minutes is more than enough time. The staff and rangers were helpful.

Sizable outdoor museum showcasing a variety of sculptures in meadow, forest & garden settings.

Day 3 on vacation and my girls were exhausted from all the hiking and walking. I am really happy that there is a driving Gallery Loop that allowed us to stay in the cat. There are parking areas along the loop if you want to stop and get up close to the sculptures or just enjoy the scenery. I came across 2 restroom buildings along the loop. There are a lot of sculptures along the loop and many that can't be viewed from the loop. You can rent a golf cart, that I do recommend so that you can see more without the limitation of being in the car and less walking. Some part of the loop, the road is pretty steep up hill and down hill, and narrow. The highlight of my visit is seeing the cats and a racoon eating cat food. I heard there are several of raccoons living under the deck. So cute!

Great place if you enjoy hiking and art. Also you can just enjoy the art from the car, or enjoy a nice hike.Be warned if you decide to walk the whole way there's very steep hills to go up and down. Also as there's lots of places to park, you are free to do a hybrid of the two options.

This is a great thing to do a little expensive 10 dollar admission per adult, and it is wheel chair friendly. You can use your car to drive around, but you can rent an art cart (golf cart) for 20 to 25 dollars an hour. It was so fun get the golf cart you can off road and get up close and personal to the art there is so much to see, lots of cool little areas must do at least once!!

You can have cart for travelling. But it is better to roaming around on feet to feel nature and art works. There are lots of small lakes also available. In the visiting centre you can find some snacks, drinks and souvenir. There are enough restrooms available. It is better to brings some snacks and lots of water if you prefer to visit by walking as there is lot of hilly area.

Very nice park, sculptures, and museum. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be going back because there is more to see.

Steven Combs — Google review

Really interesting. Lots of the sculptures were dated to the 60's and 70's iron works. Other more updated ones were very original. The monolithic stones were my favorite. Sculpture and nature.. hand in hand. You can also rent golf carts to travel around the park. Want to go back in the summertime.

Mike Ritchie — Google review

Absolutely love. Loved seeing the sculptures and you definitely have to go to the ancient sculpture museum. Loved seeing the artifacts. Really enjoyable and peaceful place

Pyt Gracie — Google review

This is definitely one of the more unique locations my fiancé and I have visited. We rented the golf cart since we hadn't used one in forever and made the gallery loop once, then used our own car to hit the loop again, park here and there, and explore things more thoroughly. The sculptures and displays are definitely eye catching, and the overlook at the very top of the loop has an excellent view of the surrounding country. Be warned that the times to visit the Pyramid House are very limited and rigid, but otherwise we both enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely come again!

Brian Walker — Google review

Great photography opportunity with an option to rent a golf cart in order to get closer to the sculptures. Peaceful setting and would be a great place to pack a picnic lunch and rent the golf cart to find a serene place for lunch. Pay the extra fee and rent the cart! You'll have so much more fun.

Jaime Hamilton — Google review

Wonderful Christmas lights!Kudos for Hamilton residents getting in free on Tuesdays. Such a nice gesture!

Kathleen Cole — Google review

Loved every minute of our time here! Highly recommend! Glad we rented the golf cart to drive around which made it easy to stop and look! Definitely worth the price of admission! Beautiful grounds with a wide variety of artwork and be sure to stop and see the ancient art as well.

We regularly visit this business for unique groceries and fresh meat/fish. They have an unbelievable selection of cuisine from around the world. An extraordinary wine and beer selection also. My kids love to visit the candy section as they can always find something that catches their eye. They recently expanded and now have knives and other cooking utensils. We will be visiting again soon.

Jonathon N. — Google review

What an amazing "grocery store". It's really much more than a grocery store, and the "international market" moniker truly fits. First of all, this place is a lot of fun to just visit. Kids don't usually enjoy going grocery shopping, but they will here. There are so many interesting sections a varieties of food that we regularly spend hours there just browsing. The prices are average, but there are also some good deals to be had on special items. The beer cave, beer/wine tasting bar, port-a-potty washrooms, fire truck hot sauce aisles, ...and I could go on... are pretty unique.

Cory Sakai — Google review

Walked in..in Aw! This market isn’t just a market, your stepping into a different world all together! We were in there three hours and didn’t begin to see it all…can’t wait to go back! And if your a fan of wine and spirits..they have a department that will impress the most finest of spirit connoisseurs!

Lorie Parker Wade — Google review

A great experience for anyone, this store has everything you could ever want! From toys and collectables, to exotic foods. From kitchenware to magic crystals. If you can imagine it, they've got it! They've also got these fun decorations everywhere. It's like a grocery store mixed with a playhouse, in the best sort of ways. If I could, I'd go way more often. I can't recommend this place enough!

Kitten Cat Games — Google review

A store that truly has a bit of everything! From sharks, fresh fruit and vegetables, to bison and ostrich. Jungle Jim’s has all the groceries you know and love and tons you have yet to try. This place is packed full of character and personality and a must check out place when near by.

Warren’s Reviews — Google review

An awesome experience! This store is incredibly expansive, with a huge selection of items from all around the world, including the US. They have fun decorations, and I always feel that the prices are reasonable. They also have a massive hot sauce section, complete with a fire truck. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re in the area.

Collin Myers — Google review

As out of town visitors, we came for free fun and treated this stop as a museum more than a grocery store. We did purchase groceries at reasonable prices. The decor and eclectic mix of products makes this a memorable attraction. It's easy to get lost!

Bonnie Robinson — Google review

This place is simply awesome. It has everything you can think of, from international foods to ostrich eggs. The amazing thing is, this place is always so organized and tidy despite its tremendous size and inventory. Lastly, this market is very kid friendly! We are always welcomed with some some sort of craft or hand out at the Giraffe entrance, something my kiddos look forward to on-top of all the amazing attractions. This is a must see if you live in the Cincy area!

Tyler Evans — Google review

I'm not sure I can find the words to describe how cool this place is. Says it's one of the top 10 places to bring visitors and I'm so glad the people I was visiting in Cincinnati brought me here. We spent about 2 hours walking around this store that they say is a grocery store but quite honestly it's got everything you could ever possibly need or want and things you didn't know you needed or wanted until you've seen them here. Their international section is the best I've ever seen. They have everything from fresh fish to craft ice cream to clothing and jewelry and coffee and tea and more meat or cheese than you could ever imagine. Don't forget to stock up on beer and wine while your hair as well, maybe grab a cigar. And there's a whole toy section for the kids when you first walk in. Super impressed with this place and anyone traveling through this area should definitely stop in and check it out. The jungle outside is a nice touch

Aimee Robidoux — Google review

First time here, it's like a circus and a grocery store had a baby. They have a wide selection of foods from around the world and the Ole Smokey sipping cream I was looking for. Very cool.

Kaelyn Mays — Google review

Everything. They have everything. It's a wild, wonderful mix of farmer's market and wally world from Family Vacation. A quest, a vacation and a trip to the local grocery store all mixed together. This was a fun exploration as well as a shopping trip. Prices were all over the place: some excellent deals...some about what you see elsewhere.Where Jungle Jim's really stands out is the extraordinary selection. The wines, the beers, the international foods, the produce as well as the bakery, fish and meat departments. All outstanding.

Cary Duke — Google review

One stop for all your European & Asian & Indian food. Other regions also catered for.I saw pretty much every style of food under one roof. This is definitely a must forall non Americans to get your fix from home.I had a good look around and can see why people enjoy this shopping experience.I will be coming back and recommend this place for all your UK essentials, i.e., PG Tips....

Tahir Anwar — Google review

Amazing place for groceries and a wonderful place to discover international groceries. This was the highlight of my Cincinnati trip. Please wear comfortable shoes, there will be a lot of walking. We spent a total of 3 hours in here!

Nabila — Google review

What an amazing place. The largest selection of groceries I have ever seen. Foods from India and the Philippines to England and Australia. Excellent service. If you are in the area it is definitely worth the time to stop. Allow lots of time to browse the whole store.

Dan Brown — Google review

This is a very unique store. You can spend hours here looking at all the items that are not available in most stores. This store has a great selection of Lodge cookware items, wooden cooking utensils from England, and too many cooking items to cover. The frozen meat includes ground yak and ground camel. I never made it to the bakery or produce department due to a lack of time. I am sure the variety in these departments is very extensive. I look forward to my next trip to Cincinnati.

Jim Cox — Google review

It's a crazy place. Easy to get turned around in. If your looking for an item and they don't have it, I'd be surprised! It was very very busy when we were here and that took away from the enjoyment of the place. I did find a number of items that were expired that were still on the shelves. So look out for that, the logistics of operating a grocery store of this magnitude has to be a nightmare. It's definitely a "go see it once" kind of a place! The pop selection is good and as a root beer collector I appreciated the selection.

Mark N — Google review

Nice selection of international goods, large variety of produce, and a lot more. A refreshing change of scenery from more prevalent grocery chains. Some nice refurbishing in recent years, but it feels like they could do more as far as new products, promotions, slight changes to layout. Had some issues with odd items not scanning at checkout. Not a deal breaker for me. The sheer volume of items, novelty items to browse is well worth the trip. And wait at checkout was very short, was not too crowded for weekend.

Shawn Haynes — Google review

What can I say about one of the biggest and funnest grocery stores. There is such a wide range of international foods to browse. I enjoy Asian treats and there are so many options. This was my second time shopping here and I was pleasantly surprised in finding fresh Asian baked goods from a local bakery (bakery Q) which were delicious.By far one of my favorite places to visit in the Cincinnati area.

Kenny Kimball II — Google review

Great Place to visit. Weekdays are best to visit because the weekends are packed. Great selection and prices are pretty good too. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. If Jungle Jim's doesn't have it then it probably doesn't exist. The bathrooms are a must see on the trip through the store. Make sure you have great walking shoes. They even have maps. A must see store. Make sure you have a cell phone for everyone in your party in case you all get separated and need to locate each other.

Wow! There is a lot going on here. This is the largest indoor super market I've ever been to. Lots of international food. Lots of fresh produce and international produce. Health food, beer, wine, cigars. Kitschy in a good way.Very helpful staff. Lots of staff to help direct.Very much a whole body experience.

Bruce Lowther — Google review

Very eclectic grocery store. It’s definitely an event. Lots of different food and drink from around the world. Well themed with animatronics and static displays. They let you taste wine and beer as you shop. It’s fairly crowded but the line move fast. I think I was most impressed by the variety of produce that you don’t normally see. Live fish were fun too.

This market is amazing place! They have everything you can imagine, too much to mention with food aisles of groceries from all over the globe. The meats, produce, cheese, seafood, liquors, smoke shop with a cigar humidor are my favorite spots to hit! Prices are very reasonable and sale prices offer great deals! Each shopping trip is an experience!!! You can get a glass of wine or beer to sip on as you shop!!! Highly recommended!!!

Great selection of wine ne, cheese, lunch meat, and soda. My personal favorites there is the insane collection of weird soda flavors, and the international food market focusing on European meets and cheeses. I've been here several times and every experience has been wonderful.

Museum

Children's museum

Located in the historic Union Terminal building, the Cincinnati History Museum houses a variety of family-friendly science and cultural museums. Focusing on Cincinnati's history from earliest days to the present, the museum features exhibits on world war two artifacts, centuries-old reconstructions of life in early Cincinnati, and a replica Mississippi steamboat from the 1800s.

My nephew and I have been here a handful of times and we absolutely love it! There a variety of museums and exhibitions to explore. He loves looking at the dinosaurs and exploring space. It’s definitely a great place to take children (and honestly, tire them out a bit). The omnitheater is also a fun and immersive experience that will surely impress the little ones. I also had a great time. It was a big space which gave people plenty of room to explore and there was minimal waiting if any.

Natalie Kasipol — Google review

Such a beautiful museum inside & out! Absolutely loved our time here with the family! So much to see, learn, and experience. We really enjoyed all the exhibits and seeing all the uniqueness that this museum has to offer! We went on a busy weekend day, but it was still a wonderful experience and it didn’t feel crowded due to the sheer size of the place. We really enjoyed our time, and would recommend anyone in the area makes the time to go and experience it themselves!

Jenna Bishop — Google review

We had a great time visiting! The building itself is a must see! We spent literally all day on our visit here. The museums are wonderful and had great exhibits. We really enjoyed the traveling Pixar exhibit. It was definitely worth the ticket to experience if you want to know how Pixar creates it's films.

Angela Young — Google review

We went here for the wedding reception of my wife’s cousin. What a place for it! We had a great time and especially enjoyed the museum being open during co*cktail time. The kids got to run around and play on the mechanical exhibits and one of my daughters and I got lost in the Ice Age. There were some amazing and well-put-together visuals for adults and kids. As for the wedding reception itself, the place was beautiful, spacious, and very clean and modern. It was a wonderful place to celebrate a wedding.

Aaron Miller — Google review

Such an amazing museum, cannot recommend it enough. The new Lego exhibit is totally worth it for any Lego lover and the children's museum is fantastic. Would love to come back over and over again!

Melissa — Google review

We have passes here and have been around a dozen times. Our kids have a blast in the kids area. Yhe children’s museum does seem meant for younger kids, maybe 10 and younger. Be aware that it can get PACKED. It’s busier more often than not, even on Mondays and Thursdays. The cave exhibit is really cool and fun for all ages as well as the space exhibit. We had a frustrating instance where an employee was following everyone around saying “don’t touch that, don’t walk there, you can’t be there.” When there are no “do not touch signs.” And the areas that can’t be touched are right next to areas that can, it’s very confusing. I emailed the museum and they just said they’d let somebody know.Be aware that it’s a long walk uphill from the parking lot. They do have strollers and electric scooters you can rent inside. There’s also a food court.Omnimax, holocaust exhibit, and temporary exhibits like the Lego exhibit are extra.

Sam — Google review

I didn’t even realize until after we had come and left, what this place is. I didn’t know it wasn’t a working train station anymore, but a huge museum complex. We didn’t have much time so we just parked to check out the architecture and interior. Just that ALONE was worth it. It is so stunning. We will definitely come back for the museums, but definitely stop by for the beauty of it!

Ptguy0618 — Google review

Absolutely blown away by this place! The architecture itself is absolutely gorgeous. Just driving up to it you know you're going to be impressed. There is plenty of parking available ($6). You are greeted by a beautiful fountain at the entrance of the building, it's super relaxing and I suggest (weather permitting) to take a few moments to appreciate it. The main room is absolutely gorgeous, with tiled murals, high ceilings and a ton of windows letting in natural lights. I could go on and on about the building itself, let's just say it's stunning and a beautiful reminder of how gorgeous architecture was. The museum was FANTASTIC! The exhibits have been curated wonderfully, both entertaining for adults and children. I honestly have not been to a better visually pleasing museum. There are a lot of stairs, plenty of ramps and even elevators to get around. We were there for over 2 hours. I can't wait to go back!! Absolutely loved everything.

Jessica R (TrinityRisky) — Google review

Really wonderful building. I loved the architecture! I went to the holocaust and Humanities museum! It's was so beautifully done commemorating this tragedy and Cincinnati's part in helping to save the families from it.

Ihaiah Miller — Google review

Came here with my 22 mo old and my 3.5 year old. Was nervous that they would find any of it interesting and was pleasantly surprised. They LOVED it. The Children’s Museum is excellent. The Art Deco architecture is world class. It’s a really fun place and I’m glad we spent our afternoon here. We had a little over 2 hours and had to run through the last bit. I wish we’d of had more time because our boys were obsessed.

Graham S. — Google review

Wow! Traveling through and entrance Free due to reciprocity benefits from hometown Science Museum Membership. Paid exhibits not included. 3-in-1 Museum! Unique features. Including Ice Age and Space. Actual fossil preparation see thru lab. Children’s Museum had great variety. We liked the magnifying glass for fossils. Great experience! Closed on some weekday, check first.

AMG — Google review

Cincinnati is so lucky to have this historical building in the city. Full of history, it has been well maintained over the years. The fountain out front also adds to its overall presentation from the moment you walk towards the entry. The exhibits and educational films that come and go, keep one coming back again and again.

Robin Townsend — Google review

My 11 year old son and I loved it!! Admission pays for two parts of the museum but the theater and brickology were an extra charge. There was ample parking that was charged when admission is paid. I highly recommend going.

Holly Edwards — Google review

Absolutely stunning museum. Best museum in the entire world. So much to see and do and everything was executed so incredibly well. The Cincinnati miniature cities was the most incredible museum exhibit I have ever seen. The detail. The size. The way it transitioned from daytime to nighttime. Whoever made this should make it for every city. Spent almost 4 hours here. Cannot say enough good things about this museum. Bravo!

Scott Wills — Google review

Went here for the natural history museum. It was a pretty good museum; lots of neat and interesting exhibits as well as interactive things for the young and young at heart. The IMAX Omnimax was very neat. The food was pretty good too. If nothing else I'd rate it 4 stars, but the museum was almost or actually more slope and ramp than flat surfaces. The main entrance leads to 4 ramps to 3 different levels. There's stairways between those but nothing for wheels. Then, the floor under the entry area ramps down further towards more museum sections. The ice age area is roughly floored to be rock-like, and then continues to be up and down ramps. It's all technically 'accessible' but be forewarned there's much effort involved.

Fountain Square is an event venue located in Cincinnati, Ohio that has been renovated multiple times. The square is well known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration as well as its free concerts and cultural events.

This place is center of Cincinnati downtown with hotels and good restaurants near by. This also has some live music going on at times.Close to bridges and walkable stores. The bell connector tram is awesome and connects the whole downtown place well.Bell connector ride is recommended. It’s frequent and easily available.Parking near this place is cheaper.

We enjoyed ourselves very much. Only issue was it was hard to locate the check in areas as well as the hot chocolate beverage area. With so many people walking around, it would have been helpful to see enlarged high mounted signs describing the different stations. Overall very fun. Will do it again

King Of Spades — Google review

We had a really fun time the team explained and made announcements on when our session started and ended. We were notified and aware of how our session was going to go by staffing. There was a problem with the hot chocolate machine at both concession stands which was promptly fixed and the ladies working the stand was very nice and very apologetic about the hot chocolate machine malfunction but again the situation was fixed very promptly. Will visit again.

jimmeda thomas — Google review

Nice square, but not many options for dining. Vibrant city center used for events and gatherings. Parking can be paid at the machines inside the square or at the actual gate as you exit with your vehicle. We found that out on the spot. July 2023

Marvilla Marzán — Google review

I revisited this place after 9 years and it’s just amazing and it’s still beautiful as it was before. As I visited this place during winter the water fountain was turned off. There is ice skating setup. Beautiful Christmas tree decor. Stunning night view and great place to hangout with friends.

Kavita Tawadarre — Google review

This December we enjoyed the bumper cars and ice skating on a Monday evening. It was a fun outing. We also experienced Santa and his team rappel down a skyscraper. Such magical memories!

Ben Miller — Google review

Haven’t skated in ages and very much enjoyed being able to switch between bumper cars and skating. Warming tent was nice and the hot chocolate was delicious. Enjoyed doing it with our adult “children”.

Lori Parsons — Google review

I was only in Fountain Square for a few minutes today, but I enjoyed my time there! There were some beautiful and lively birds walking around. They were friendly and cute. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because a lot of the picnic tables had bird poop on the seats!

Kathryn Gordon — Google review

Great location.Stopped here to watch a live concert. Kiss tribute. They have bands playing every week. Do check the schedule.

Joslyn Verekar — Google review

One of the coolest parts of Cincinnati is The Tyler Davidson Fountain of Fountain Square. It is a beautiful work of art but it also has such an incredible story to tell, from the artist behind it, and gifting of it to the city, to the meaning of each figure adorning it. The fountain is the focal point of the square, giving it life during the seasons when the water is flowing. The square, Fountain Square, is the "heart" of the city. It is surrounded by hotels, shops, restaurants and is a part of many events such as Taste of Cincinnati, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati and BLINK. In the winter it hosts the holidays with a huge lit tree and an ice skating rink.During the summer there are concerts and dancing around the fountain. Sporting events are cast on the big screen. Downtown workers have lunch there. It's a great gathering spot. It's a "must see" for anyone visiting the city.(*We were on The Square on March 1, 2024 to pick up a bottle of Fountain Square Bourbon. That was the release date for a limited edition bourbon from Cincinnati Distilling and March First Brewing. The water used in the bourbon is from the same water source as the fountain water.)

Martha Schott — Google review

I visited Fountain Square on a sunny day in October and was immediately impressed by its size and beauty. The square is surrounded by historic buildings and features a variety of seating areas, making it a great place to relax and people-watch. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby shops and restaurants. One of the things I liked most about Fountain Square was its vibrant atmosphere. There was always something going on, whether it was a group of musicians playing on the stage or a crowd of people gathered to watch a street performer. I also appreciated the fact that the square is free and open to the public.Overall, I had a very positive experience at Fountain Square. It is a beautiful and vibrant space that is enjoyed by people of all ages. I would highly recommend visiting Fountain Square if you are ever in Cincinnati.

I’m jealous that my home city doesn't have something as incredible as Fountain Square. It is lively and fun. The live music and outdoor bar are top-notch. This was one of my highlights of the trip.

Great location close to hotels and restaurants in downtown Cincinnati.

Aaron Evers — Google review

My brother worked at the Fifth-Third Center for many years and when he did I would visit him for lunch, sometimes dinner. We'd meet right here. It's always a lovely place with a lot surrounding it. During holidays there is ice-skating here. I recommend it to anyone visiting Ohio. Go take a look at all the beauty in downtown Cincinnati. It's so beautiful and full of things to do. Do not take your camera to the hood (Fountain Square area is fine) snapping photos, it can get dangerous. Not speaking from personal experience, just know the rules down there. Respect and get respect. Happy viewing, God bless.

Zoo

Zoos & Aquariums

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is a large and well-maintained zoo that features an impressive variety of animals, as well as rides and attractions for children. It is a great place to visit with the whole family.

We had a wonderful visit. It was Christmas glitters, lights, music and Santa all over the place. Lightening was at its best. Carefully lovingly kept wild and aquatic life. Most beautiful experience was that of zoo train and the musical fountains. Clean restrooms and warm refreshment areas. Excellent!

Kirti — Google review

Great zoo! We were surprised to find that it was so easy to spend the entire day here, from open to close. It was disappointing that so many animals were off display due to construction, the weather, or bird flu concerns. But even despite that, there was so much to see & experience here. The hippo display is unsurprisingly very busy, but we still got to stay a while & see the new baby. Absolutely worth it.The overall atmosphere was really nice too. I love how much bamboo they have growing all over - and they've starting hanging string lights from everything. So many pathways felt like their own little road, distanced from the rest of the park - when in fact they're barely separated.I appreciate how easy it is to buy tickets & parking from your phone. When we arrived there was a long line to purchase tickets, but I was able to buy them on my phone in less than a few minutes & get right in!

Matt — Google review

One of the best zoo I’ve been so far, I follow this zoo in social media but it was my first time going. We too our infant and spent the whole day from opening to close and didn’t manage to visit all exhibits. Their nursing rooms were clean and cool during a hot day. The nursing room made our trip to this zoo worth it. Went during Father’s Day and they had a special event going on. Overall, amazing zoo and would definitely consider getting their membership.

Miguel Chang — Google review

This is hands down the best zoo I have ever been to! All the animals look so happy and healthy! We purchased tickets online ahead of time and didn't have a wait at all. Parking was 10 dollars, super easy, and you can pay on your phone or have the people assist you on the way out with a card. We can't wait until our next trip here! If you plan to come to Cincinnati I highly recommend trying to plan a day for the zoo!

Breanna Cozart — Google review

Cincinnati Zoo & the Festival of Lights. What else can I say but absolutely amazing & beautiful. Just check out the photos, although they do no justice really compared to being there in person. Went on a Sunday evening. Crowds were decent sized yet not so bad that it wasn’t fun. Still able to get good views of everything with just a little bit of patience. Can’t complain about the parking either. Pretty much got in and out with no problem. I definitely recommend checking it out if you have the chance!

Justin Lehr — Google review

The zoo was amazing! There were so many animals and so many cool things along the way. They had a reptile room, and they even had a kid park and everything! The food there was great as well!

Cierra Russell — Google review

Went while the tulips were in bloom. They were so pretty. All of the zoo parking lots were full, so we had to find street parking, but they are in the process of building more parking lots covered by solar panels to both shade the vehicles and supply green energy to the park. It was quite busy, but that's generally to be expected from a nice sunny afternoon in spring with the longer winter we've had. We didn't even try to get on the train around the park because the line was so long. Looking forward to the warmer weather when there are more animals outside and more of the shows are happening.

We decided to take a family trip to visit Fiona that my wife and daughter have been following on social media. This zoo was so clean and well taken care of. The staff was polite and courteous and the animals looked so happy in their well maintained enclosures. Well worth the trip!

I've been to a lot of zoos around the world and I can safely say that this is one of the best I've been to. The diversity of animals and the overall layout of the zoo is excellent. You could easily spend an entire day here, especially if you check out some of their shows. They also have animals here that I've never seen at other zoos before, such as the African wild dogs which were fun to watch. I would recommend getting here as soon as they open, as the parking lot gets busy and fills up quickly.

This is a pretty great zoo. It seemed to have all of the important animals although we never found the bears and really only found one entertaining monkey display. There is shade everywhere. There are lots of pretty good food options. Beware - it's a fairly hilly zoo. If you cover the whole thing you'll certainly get your exercise for the day. There is at least one fantastic playground that all of the younger kids really enjoy. I really liked the kangaroo area. It felt like being in their habitat with them.

Visiting from Chicago and have to say I love this zoo! It’s small, but mighty. And makes you feel like you’re on an adventure to find the other animals.Highly recommend the train. As you get to see and overview of a bunch of the exhibits. Then you can’t forget about Fiona the hippo.

Always love going to the zoo. Everything was clean. The animals were out. Seems like they have done a lot of upgrades, and all the animals have more enrichment items. The line was short on the day we went, so my 3 girls got to feed the giraffes. $4 for 2 pieces of lettuce.

One of the best zoos, our family loves coming here with our 2 year old daughter.- Large breadth of diverse animals.- Good view points at every animal section.- Friendly and knowledgeable staff, always a pleasure chatting with them.- Beautiful botanical gardens, flowers, and plants throughout.- Excellent carousel with 60 different animals.- Fun train ride for kids.- Play area with a slide for small kids.- Petting zoo with Goats for kids.- World of the Insect is super cool.- Our family has the Platinum membership and it’s worth it for the 9-10am member only early access (it can get crowded). Early access pretty much guarantees front parking too. Check on the website the months early access is available (March to Oct I think).- Great map design. We’ve visited during all seasons. Keep it up Zoo team!

We absolutely LOVE the Festival of Lights at the Zoo. This is the third year in a row, we have gone the night before Thanksgiving. We usually get there about 430 and don’t have any problems parking or getting in to the zoo. It’s definitely my favorite place to see Christmas lights in the Cincinnati area.

Danielle March — Google review

We really enjoyed this zoo! The gift shop items were so cute. The exhibits were nice and the animals were happy. We went early on a Sunday before the Holiday light festivities during the first week of December. It wasn't busy most of the day and the weather was good enough for the animals to be out and active. Good signage, and wasn't too much trouble to navigate. Definitely a lot of walking. Food was good. Truly had a great time visiting with my husband and Mom!

What a great zoo quite literally in the middle of the city! It is fun awesome place to go with family & friend's. It's affordable and you can see different types of Animals by walking or they also have train rides. Not only animals they also have a gift shop and different restaurant's.They have festival of lights there every year and it's beautiful. Staff and Crew is nice and respect you, and your family and friends. The membership is nice and affordable too. If you have food stamps the standard fee is $50 just bring your food stamps card and ID. I forget about the other membership prices is easy price's.Mainly The grounds are clean and there are plenty of trees. The landscaping is lush and it's just a great place to walk around and snap some great pictures. There is such a large variety of animals here and the enclosures are beautiful. I don't think there was a single animal that wasn't out. There is so much to see here so bring your walking shoes.

Well maintained, lots of different animals to see, well laid out park, restaurants in the park to get something to eat and I plan on returning. Love it.Parking is a mess. Do not take the last turn google suggests. You'll end up on a dead end street. Google takes you to the exit end of a Parking lot to the zoo. There isn't an entrance there. You will be within eye sight of the park/ zoo. There are Parking lots located in the area you can park in. Expect to pay 10 dollars for Parking.

Really this zoo has come along way. All the upgrades new exhibits and overall attention to detail for the animals. I appreciate the botanical landscaping, the worldly facades on the exhibits and educational opportunities. Staff was great and friendly. I recommend being a member, food and item prices are outrageous (ex 35 bucks for a pizza) but you get a discount if your a member. Parking is reasonably priced I suppose. I was disappointed in several attractions being closed however. Advertising what's coming in spring made me excited, but i still wanted to see those specific animals. I think if attractions are closed, my tickets should be discounted. I'd love to see the zoo expand, more big cats and exotic animals, Pandas ect. Larger exhibits and mire interactions with the animals. Overall however it was a beautiful day and great fun with the family. Can't really complain.

This place is AMAZING!! Literally so many animals will have to come back to see them all! The cool way they all put the animals of prey in a neat walk through exhibit, to the awesome train ride that takes you through the whole park, and the beautiful flamingo family with a new baby bird! Just really awesome- my favorite was personally the feeding of the apes! There is a cool little cave area that lets you feel like you’re WITH these huge animals! Highly recommend this zoo to any family! Don’t forget your dip n dots & fun stuffed zoo animal souvenir!

Our family had the opportunity to explore the Cincinnati Zoo recently, and let me tell you, it was an experience we won’t forget! Unlike any other zoo we’ve visited, Cincinnati Zoo stands out for its sheer beauty. The landscaping is a visual feast, with lush greenery and artistic design elements around every corner. The architecture of the exhibits is an experience in itself; it blends so well with the natural scenery that you often forget you’re in a zoo. It felt more like a wildlife haven, designed with the animals and visitors in mind.As parents, the highlight was seeing the joy on our two boys’ faces. The one-of-a-kind experiences with kangaroos and penguins were jaw-droppingly excellent. Not every day do you get to be so close and personal with these amazing animals!Staff members were equally remarkable, offering insightful information while caring deeply for the well-being of the residents of this unique sanctuary.Bottom line: If you’re anywhere near Cincinnati, don’t sleep on the chance to visit this exceptional zoo. It’s a feast for the eyes, educational for the mind, and joyous for the heart—truly a place that offers something special for everyone.

We loved our first visit! Beautifully kept grounds and property. The animals are the stars! They showed off! Super friendly and informative staff members throughout the park and exhibits. Water refill stations and mist showers throughout the park. Nice options at the gift shop. Good food selections available. Accessible in all areas. They allow snacks and coolers. Be ready to walk! It's all worth it.July 2023

Growing up with this as my childhood Zoo really set me up with high expectations for what a zoo should bring. I am so glad to see that they have only enhanced for the betterment of the animals and guest experience. We came in town for the holidays and got to see the Festival of Lights which brought such nostalgia. It was very busy but well managed and a good variety of animals were out and about. This is a must see if you are in Cincinnati.

Corey Brill — Google review

My family & I love the zoo. We go several times a year. There is plenty of parking. I do recommend getting tickets in advance, at times the line can be quite long, especially during Festival of Lights & kids spring breaks. During lunch times there can be long lines for food, so plan accordingly. You can bring your own water & food. There are plenty of tables to sit at, some inside & some outside. They do not force the animals to be outside, so when you visit some may or may not been seen. They are currently working on expanding some areas so there is construction.

This was such an amazing zoo. I loved the layout and that it was right in the middle of the City. Definitely checked out Fiona and the Hippos exhibit. The Manatees were awesome and that bubble viewing window was super cool. It wasn’t a long walk but there was a good flow to the zoo and was incredibly clean. Tons of workers all over the place to answer questions. We went when the tulips were in bloom during spring (so it was a tad chilly) but we would gladly make the day trip back again to check it out during the summer time.

Joe — Google review

I visited the zoo with my family on spring break. Honestly it was cold and wet when we went and I’ll admit that I haven’t been to a lot of zoos lately. But I wish we would have known what exhibits were going to closed and that most of the snack shops would be closed. It would have made our decision to go or not much easier. I will say that we enjoyed seeing the exhibits and animals that were open and out and about. If I’m ever in Cincinnati again with my family and it’s warm weather we will definitely go back. I think our favorite was Fiona, the hippo it was fun, watching her and the other hippos playing.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden! Though be aware there was a good bit of construction and closed exhibits (common during this off-season; we visited march 3rd), there was still a full day of exhibits, exploring, and adventure. The staff that we interacted with were all very nice, and I think the animals are well taken care of here. Everything looked well maintained and tidy throughout the day. The gift shop is decent. The food is good but obviously more pricey than food outside of the zoo.I definitely plan on returning during a different season when I can see the Insect House, Kangaroos, and a few other things. Overall, it's worth a visit or two!

Jess Brewster — Google review

This is such an awesome place to visit solo, with the family or on a date. The botanical garden part with all the colorful flowers was amazing. The best part of the zoo for me was the hippos. All the kids and adults knew all the hippos' names. I also like how you can walk inside the kangaroo section. I took a photo of every flower they had. I definitely want to do the train ride next visit. You will find every animal at the Cincinnati Zoo. Give yourself like 4 hours or so to visit each animal area. Wear a sunvisor or hat and some sunglasses. Don't forget to check out the gift shop.

Laurency Wyatt — Google review

We had a great time as a family! We got to see many different animals, and they were closer than other zoos. The place was clean, the layout allows you to complete the visit in about 3 hours, and today they had free Easter candy !!We also loved the tulips in bloom!

Jorge Betancourt — Google review

This is a beautiful place to visit with tons of the blooming tulips. I came for the hippos but enjoyed the rest of the park as well. It was fun getting to touch a snake. I preferred to walk but it was good that there is a little train for those with limited mobility.

It was just a beautiful day 4/7/24 the park was completely full but what do you expect after a long winter?!? And the last day of spring break. The park is kept clean and easy to follow. Only 4 stars because the bathroom(s) multiple were absolutely filthy

Casinos & Gambling

The Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is a popular gambling venue in the Cincinnati area that offers slots, video poker, and a buffet. It also has a steakhouse and a tropical eatery.

What a gorgeous casino! The crystal chandeliers are absolutely breathtaking.. They currently have a collection on display from different artist! We had a great time playing some black jack, slots and having a few drinks. We had some delicious pizza, conversation with strangers and walked out with more money then when we walked in. If you haven't yet check the casino... I definitely think it's worth checking out now that it's a Hard Rock cafe. We were only disappointed with one bartender in the back bar area.. he was rude and assuming.. but he didn't mess up our good time! Would recommend and definitely plan on checking it out.

Carey Marie — Google review

Really fun Casino. You could walk around there for hours just checking out all the musicians memorabilia. So cool being able to see everything so close. Had a few co*cktails at the bar as well as some food. The bartender was very nice and made great suggestions for my meal. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better a fantastic local band took the stage and put on a heck of a show!

We started coming here about 2 months ago and their promotions are amazing. I've had $15 a free slot machine money to play on once a week for the last 2 months and then for March is promotion I get $10 off at any food then you there each week.

Lots of cool rock memorabilia all over the casino. I saw lots of compliments about the layout of the casino, but I thought it was good. I had fun playing blackjack. Staff is friendly and professional. Very bright and clean inside. Traffic in Cincinnati is terrible. It was worth visiting this place.

Gorgeous casino. Good security and a safe exit/entry location. All the casino elements are here. Excellent, non-smoking establishment.

Ernest Bethel — Google review

Let me start by saying I am not a gambler. I am a Hard Rock collector who was taking a close family member out for a nice dinner for his birthday. I did not gamble, so I have nothing to contribute about the gaming. The restaurants and Rock Shop are all on the same level as the casino. There are plenty of very nice restrooms which are kept clean. Plenty of free parking in attached parking garage with elevators. There seemed to be good security. There are several food venues and bars: a classic Hard Rock Cafe, coffee shop, pizza venue, Asian restaurant, and our destination the Council Oak Steak & Seafood. My only disappointment was the relative lack of rock memorabilia. I’ve seen small Hard Rock Cafes with much more memorabilia than this large complex.

We visited for the first time since they changed over to Hard Rock on NYE. Great restyle. The floorplan is much more logical.Wonderful selection of new eating choices. Easily twice as many than when it was Jack"s.The employees were all very friendly and eager to assist in any needs that arose.Memorabilia collection is very interesting as well.

My workplace attended a job fair and we had a wonderful experience here. The staff were kind and welcoming, and I loved the displays throughout the entire casino! Restrooms were clean and the employees were quick to assist if we needed anything at all. The food was great!

My first time here and at a casino in general and I had the BEST experience!!! The staff is very very friendly and they show you where everything is located. Food was amazing and I ended up coming home with a good amount of cash!!! Will most CERTAINLY be coming back regardless of me being 2 hours away🤪🎰

We went to the Hard Rock to see the legendary Beach Boys perform. The show was absolutely amazing! I was impressed with the venue space and surrounding areas! Everything was kept neat and cleaned up. Parking is your choice of valet or you can park free in the parking garage! Û

Great casino! Friendly staff. Loose slots. Nice and smooth dealers at every table. No mistakes, professional pit bosses and hosts. Great food choices. A central bar for quick and easy drinks if you can get away from the tables or don’t utilize the gorgeous and very nice individuals catering to you there. All around a great place to enjoy some fun and possibly hit a nice chunk. If you dont hit it big the pleasant atmosphere and experience helps eliminate your pain significantly if not completely.

Had fun. First time players get a $10 play credit plus $5 food credit. I turned my free play into $45. Sports betting too! Huge poker room. Not smokey. Good casino.

John Craven — Google review

Thought we were going to have a little fun this morning but upon entering the casino one of us had a soda with us and was told we couldn't bring a drink in with us. It's not something that would usually bother us but you can never find anyone who will offer you a drink. Hard Rock unlike the other casinos in the area where you can get your own drink at no charge, wants to charge for drinks while most people are already spending quite a bit of money playing their games.

Laura Lane — Google review

As food as variety of games its a nice place and the staff is pretty good but as far as the promotional department they're the worse at rating your play and giving you anything. I go there a few times a week and get nothing and went to Horseshoe close to Indianapolis one time and comped me food then sent me several free trips out of town offers plus $300 food/merchandise comp and $675 free bet money. Sure wish Hard Rock would do one tenth of that but doubt it after years of playing there!

Mike Wilson — Google review

Just a mediocre experience. In this new age of casinos in all local areas of the US, setting yourself apart is not hard. Hard Rock Cincinnati had a terrible selection of table games and electronic table games. $5 blackjack with a required $5 side bet is the worst offender. Not to mention all of your tables under $25 were 6:5, shame on you. Craps tables started at $15, which is fine, but your dealers made the experience mediocre. They just did not provide a good customer experience and seemed disinterested in the customers. Electronic table games were $10 minimums, both craps and blackjack (also 6:5...). And video poker pay tables were quite abysmal. Overall, Hard Rock Cincinnati is just another overpriced casino, offering a mediocre selection of games. I can easily drive to Hollywood, not even a 30 minute drive, to receive better games, rules, minimums, and customer service. In fact, that's exactly what we did. One last thing, I matched from Caesar's rewards diamond plus to third highest tier in the unity program. Your tier match program should make me excited or even interested to play in your network... I got $10 slot play and I truly didn't see any benefit for having a higher tier in your program. So I have zero reason to ever return to Hard Rock Cincinnati. As an avid casino goer, it's so easy to find a better experience at your competitors. Do bettor.

I was never a big gambler. I thought that it was all a bunch of hoopla. I definitely feel differently after today I went with my friend and I won a jackpot. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting in the Cincinnati area. There is a little something for everyone. One of my favorite parts was the memorabilia on display left from bands visiting the city. Legendary artists from decades ago. We went to the bar and ordered Long Island iced teas. Shout out to the bartender for making such a delicious drink! The service was excellent and they weren’t very crowded as it was during the day. I had a really great time and I was on my last spin when I hit the jackpot! It really made for a great day! I would check it out if you’re in the area, even if you’re not a gambler. Definitely going back!

Zoë Katherine — Google review

Very clean and nice casino. Enjoyed looking at all the celebrity outfits displayed.

Lori Howard — Google review

The slots are terrible! You play max and your return is very minimal! Been to this casino 4 times,is a nice location, nice decorate, but the gambling is if you might as well just give them a donation! Playing from one end to the other only to get the same results! Won't be back! I go to Derby City and Belterra and always seem to come out better than going in! So I will stay away from this place! Not once did I see or hear a JACKPOT scream !

Edward Krieg — Google review

My husband and I visited for the 1st time in 2+ years to celebrate his birthday. We stayed at the $15 minimum bet Black Jack table most of the evening. We had 2 different dealers. One was Elijah. Elijah was SUPER good! He was everything a patron would want in a dealer; enthusiastic, interactive, helpful, funny.... Then we had Jeffrey. Jeff was complete and total opposite of Elijah. Jeff unfortunately didn't have an ounce of fun personality, wasn't engaging, and in fact would roll his eyes or make a very noticeable sigh when a player would make a move he personally wouldn't have done or didn't agree with. I am not sure what Jeff is going through personally, and I'm always about giving grace. I hope it was just a bad night for him? -But, If Jeff really doesn't like his job at all, he should look for a role not in direct customer service/engagement. Outside of the Black Jack experience, the couple slots we played were fun and we had good pay-outs. The drink prices, SHEESH, this place taxxxes. Stadium big event prices for alcohol. We would go back again to this location, but wouldn't drink next time, and would steer clear of Jeff. 4/5 🌟 🎰

The new home of the Cincinnati Reds, the Great American Ball Park, is a beautiful and modern stadium with great views. It is located just on the edge of Nuxhall Way in honour of Joe Nuxhall, and has some interesting architectural features. There are the Power Stacks, which mimic the look of steamboats that would once drift up the Ohio River from Mississippi, along with a series of mosaics dedicated to Cincinnati baseball's glory years.

My Daughter and Son-in-law had their wedding reception here. The staff could not have been any more accommodating. My parents are elderly and the staff assists with transportation to the event and back. Wheelchairs were provided at no charge. The facility was exceptionally clean and professionally maintained. Hats off to the hard-working custodial staff and especially the event staff.

This may be one of my favorite baseball stadiums. There are many many different areas for groups or families or people in general. There is a huge variety of food and drinks. Great selection of beers and adult drinks. A very nice kids area. Overall there’s something for everyone. Well except maybe this year’s actual Reds baseball team. They can be hard to watch. But the stadium is great.

Hadn’t been to a ballgame in decades. Went to the ballpark and the place is just plain huge and beautiful…well run and everything is well-marked so you can’t get lost. Rain delay offered time to explore all the mind-boggling food and drink options. Reds lost 0-3 to the Orioles but still had fun. A great ballpark in a great city with a great crowd.

This stadium is a love letter to baseball and baseball in Cincinnati. Lots of opportunities for fans to interact, especially families with young children. They even have a playground on the grounds. The $25 all you can eat pass is a pretty good deal if you don’t mind that the hot dogs are not Kahn’s. There is a candy shop. Bars. Many things to list.Don’t let the futility of the team dissuade you from coming here. It’s a really great place to soak in the atmosphere of baseball.

Doron Berger — Google review

Jim in the right fields stands (Budweiser standing deck) was very helpful with providing info about the area and the park itself. Super friendly and nice. It was our first time at this ball park and we enjoyed having nearby restaurants and bars within walking distance to the field. There are yummy and fun food options inside the park and several places with walk up bars. Several merchandise stores on various levels of the park. It was one of those near 100 degree days and there were plenty of shady spots and fan/misting stations throughout. It's a really nice park and well constructed.

Cleveland fan here! Absolutely loved this stadium. I have now seen 2 games here and both were amazingly fun. Cheap beer before the game, great food deals, and amazing views from anywhere. Both games I went to, the Reds were not having a good year (below .500), yet the stadium was still full of energy and fans still cheering. Some of the best ballpark food I’ve had from the handful of stadiums I’ve visited (Wrigley, PNC, Arizona, Progressive). The stadium location is awesome. Just off the Ohio River, with views of city skyline and that nice breeze from the river. Just a great location. There are soooo many seats at this ballpark too. And the employees were are friendly, helpful, and seemed to love their job! I will definitely be revisiting when I’m in the area. A++++

It took me awhile to get parked. There's 3 different listings on GPS for the parking garage it was by luck and accident that I found where I was supposed to be. Everything else was a relatively pleasant experience. It's easy to navigate. The staff leaves alot to be desired. You have to practically beg for any kind of assistance. The vendors in the stadium are non existent so you have to continually get up and go to the food court. Other than that it's a nice place to bring the family for a game.

Love watching game at this place! Prices are pretty fair compared to other areas of the country. Park in Kentucky and walk over the bridge, and get two nice walks over the Ohio River. Food is pretty good, but not the most diverse options. Go watch some Reds baseball!

Very fun ballpark. We bought last minute, day-of seats for $40 each. Still an approachable price in a sport where seat prices seem to be skyrocketing at some ballparks. Got a drink outside of the ballpark beforehand which was a fun environment (see video). The food and drink vendors inside the park were all open and had very friendly staff working and seemed to be fully operational.

Wonderful place to watch a ball game. The people that work their are so nice. The ballpark is beautiful and very clean. We went to games on Friday night and Saturday.I believe they do fireworks every Friday night. This was a real impressive show. This may be one of my favorite baseball stadiums. There are so many different areas for groups or families or people in general. There is a huge variety of food and drinks, from high-end food to $25 all-you-can-eat popcorn, peanuts, and up to five hotdogs. Great selection of beers and adult drinks. A very nice kids area. Overall there’s something for everyone. But the stadium is great. Get there early and enjoy this beautiful stadium or take a tour on off days.

We came here for a concert and absolutely love this stadium! The food court, concession areas, etc are all really smartly laid out. They have a full bar. I don’t know if this is normal in baseball stadiums, but I thought it was cool! You can get ice cream sundaes in baseball helmets and macOS in a bigger helmet. There are plenty of bathrooms. The seats are typical stadium seats but comfortable. We sat under the covered portion in the lower level -section 134- and the view is great! Whether you’re going to a baseball game or a concert or special event, this is a great location.

We had a great time at the park! Plenty of parking! The park itself was clean spacious and had a lot of fun elements to it. We got the club tickets so it was great view and experience! And we watched a real fun game padres vs reds June 30th!! The store is really expensive and once you got it the store you can’t really go back in … we found out that the hard way! But all in all a great experience!

As a Cubs fan I have visited several times. Beautiful stadium on the picturesque Ohio River. Stadium workers are super friendly and helpful. Food options are plentiful and very good quality. Pay the extra to park in the garages, reasonable prices with easy in and out. Good job Cincinnati.

Everything you could want in a ballpark experience, and more. The video board crashed during the game at one point, but that didn't detract from the experience. Seats down the line are angled toward home plate, the crowd is boisterous and VERY respectful, honestly I could see myself becoming a Reds fan.The setting of the stadium and overall feel made you feel like you were at a ballpark, and this is really worth a visit. The funny part, in all my time working in baseball, I had never seen the Cincinnati Reds play in person. I've announced for many of their affiliates, but never saw the Reds play in person.Love the steamboat stacks beyond the outfield fence and the homerun celebrations are cool. This is a stadium every baseball fan must visit.

It's all in the park's name, Great!! American!! Ballpark!! Awesome well laid out facilities, spacious concourses and plenty of different ways to view the game from anywhere in the stadium!!And the hall of fame, best team hall I've ever been to in baseball!!

Mike Knolinski — Google review

Not being from the Airbnb, Ballpark traveler, this stadium was beyond amazing. What a great way to make you feel like you were in the past, but have lots of modern influences. We loved all the outside things to do there’s a playground for the kids there was like music prices were a little steep. It was a little difficult to find the specific things we were looking for like the helmet nachos that actually had a protein in them nachos cheese and salsa 74. Was disappointed that the souvenir cups were not refillable. We did really like that about a different ballpark. We were frustrated. That parking was a little difficult to figure out. It’s not signed very well, but parking was pretty affordable at $25 a car so we did appreciate that

Had a blast. Pretty stadium. Had a magnificent seat! The staff I met were pleasant and helpful. Met a bunch of rowdy Reds fans that kept me entertained and a couple other young men that were just a pleasure to talk to.Another stadium to check off my bucket list!! Yay, Mets for the win!!(For the record, I'm a Yankees fan but I'll always pick NY over another team)

C L — Google review

Went to our first Reds game not too long ago and we had so much fun. We got seats in the higher section and it was a good choice because we got a stellar view of the game and the gorgeous background of the Ohio River. There were a couple of different beer stands so there was variety which was awesome.

RJ — Google review

Love going to see a game here. Great food options, friendly staff, fun experience. Parking can be a bit tricky so suggest getting there early to park in one of the lots or garages within a few blocks. Let’s go Redlegs!

Museums

The Cincinnati Art Museum is an American art museum located in the city's historic Mount Lookout neighborhood. The museum features a collection of over 67,000 works from throughout history, dating back to the 6,000 years that human beings have been creating art. Outside of exhibiting artwork, the museum also contains traveling exhibits.

Great museum. Polite staff and interesting artwork. I love their changing exhibits. It's always a fun time going here. I've been almost a dozen times in my life. They have a great program for children to get involved in making art work. I can't wait to stop by again. It's a great place to go no matter the weather. Very reliable hours

We visited on the weekend in which the museum was sponsoring the "Galloping Through dynasties" special event, the admission was extremely reasonable for such a well executed event. My understanding is that there is usually no admission charge. We arrived around 1 on a Saturday and only saw about half of the exhibits. The floral arrangements were beautiful and well done. The museum has a great variety of art, that cover a wide spectrum of time in US as well as world history. I highly recommend spending more than four hours to see all of the exhibits.

We are wedding photographers in Cincinnati and we have been reflecting on our favorite weddings we shot this year. One of our top weddings occurred here, at the Cincinnati Art Museum. There are so many photo opportunities at the Museum (front steps, galleries, grand staircases and more) and the Art museum's courtyard was a gorgeous backdrop for the couple's ceremony. We are definitely going to recommend more of our couples to the Cincinnati Art Museum for their wedding - It is just stunning!

We visited this museum 5 years ago and couldn't cover all of it so went back today when they were open till 8pm. It's amazing that general admission is free. It's awe inspiring. Very well maintained. Polite staff. Make sure you wear your backpacks in the front or on one shoulder so that you don't bump into art work. They have clear restrooms too. Will definitely go back in the summer.

Namitha Srinath — Google review

This is the coolest art museum I’ve been to in a while. The best part about it, it’s completely free! They have so many different pieces and time periods to browse through. This is place where you’ll come back multiple times to get through the entire museum. It’s highly recommended if you’re in Cincinnati!

Hasan — Google review

The museum is a treasure in the heart of Eden Park! It's worth a visit for Cincinnati natives and tourists. The museum has free general admission and welcomes donations. We saw the Picasso Landscape Exhibition, and it had timed admissions tickets for $12 Seniors. There were still tickets being bought day of visit and no one was hurried to rush through in a certain time. We spent close to 2 hours viewing artwork from different phases of Picasso's life. The display is very open and well curated. Electronic monitors reminded visitors that this is priceless artwork, so keep your feet three feet from artwork, and don't touch!

We were in Cincinnati for a short weekend trip and decided to checkout the Cincinnati Art Museum. The drive to the museum from downtown was a great start to the day. There was a great view of the city and the neighborhood streets and homes added to the experience. The Museum grounds were also amazing and got us excited for what to expect inside. The admission to the main portion of the museum is free. You only need to pay for the special exhibit if you decide to. We had a great time viewing all of the collections and it only took a couple hours at a leisure pace. There were many items with ties to the local area or artists that made the collects more interesting. I would definitely recommend the Cincinnati Art Museum when visiting Cincinnati.

Amazing museum that has free parking and free general admission. My friend got married and had a reception here a while ago. There was a lot of amazing artworks and artifacts here that come from all around the world. Would definitely come back and also take a walk to visit mt. Adam’s nearby. Eden Park is also very beautiful and close by too!

Lucas Lim — Google review

I went to see a special exhibit. The entrance to the whole museum was free. There was a reasonable fee for the retrospective exhibit of Driscoll, an African American artist. His work was amazing. The museum was not crowded (though the main parking lot was full - I’m not sure if the was a secondary lot - but a car pulled out just as we needed it. They have parking for electric cars! So recharge as you need to! Lovely place….can’t wait to go back and explore the permanent collection. Here are my favorites:

We really love this museum — it’s a beautiful, accessible place to walk around and see wonderful art. Every time I go I see something there in a new way. Our family particularly appreciates the Sensory Saturdays each month, too. (Always-free admission and free parking is also a big plus.)

Christina Blust — Google review

A wonderful museum with carefully selected thematic collections by period and genre. The small museum with a very cozy atmosphere. The museum staff are very polite and respectful. I highly recommend this museum to all art lovers.

Anastasiya Petrushchenkova — Google review

Thank you for the free admission! The special exhibits had great pieces. Charles White, AH-MAZING!!! The cafe food and service were okay. There was construction of a special exhibit causing lots of sound at the main entrance. Security personnel were only awkward when they paced so quickly from room to room, whistled and leaned on banisters. The restrooms are clean (seem a bit small for those who may need more room). The driveway and parking are nice and easy on a Tuesday. There’s a beautiful view of the city next to the museum.

Brittany Chambers — Google review

I love this place. The free exhibits are BEAUTIFUL. The paid exhibits aren't expensive and change out quite often. I love going here to read and relax and the lake is super close as well in Eden Park. Will be returning over and over and over again. Tons of parking, wheelchair accessible, a little restaurant with coffee inside in a little outdoor area.

Thomas Flynn — Google review

It is a beautiful museum with a vast selection of paintings, sculpture and fittings. It had a lot of commissioned work that was very unique. It was a bit mazy to walk through but I still managed to navigate it. The staff were very helpful and nice. I loved the Black and Brown Faces: Verified exhibition a lot. It offers free admission too.

Nathanael Amoyaw Asamoah — Google review

Wonderful museum hosting a great and unique touring exhibit while we were there. Only knock against was the "art walk" didn't have much art on it, but the exhibits inside were incredible. Also, free except for special exhibits so you can't beat that price! Even the tickets for the touring exhibit were reasonable. Highly recommended!

Jason Sargent — Google review

This place has so many different pieces and artifacts from different time periods. And great displays of art as well. So many different rooms to explore. Definitely come here early and explore the whole place. Best of all it is Free!

One of my favorite places in Cincinnati!! The staff does an amazing job bringing the coolest exhibits to the museum. Pictured was when their Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit was in town. Perfect timing for my moms 60th birthday weekend! The staff is always so helpful in kind when you enter and keep the museum looking wonderful. The small gift store is always fun to explore after wandering the museum! Don’t forget to take advantage of free Thursday evenings at the museum. Any ticketed exhibit if free on Thursdays, you just need to reserve a timed ticket! You can do this online before going or you can walk in and gamble to see if there are any spots open when you arrive!

Livia Weingarten — Google review

The Charles White and Native American glass art exhibits were exquisite. Free admission on a Thursday evening. Cincinnati, do you realize what a gem we have in our midst? (Sorry, no pics of Charles White's works, was too blown away to remember to grab my phone.)

Aquarium

Zoos & Aquariums

The award-winning Newport Aquarium houses 60+ exhibits featuring penguins, rays, and more. Kids will love the touch tanks where they get up close to starfish, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, anemones and cleaner shrimp. Older kids will enjoy walking across the river on the Newport Southbank Bridge (or Purple People Bridge) to get there.

This place is sweet. Tons of things to see here. The have fish from all over the world with great descriptive plaques. Lots of neat things they have done with the displays. They have aquariums with little indentations that you can stick your head into. They have glass floors so you can see underneath. They have tunnels where you can see the fish all around you. Pretty great spot to go for a day trip. A little crowded and I wish they would require people to wear masks. You don't have to wear one if you've been vaccinated but nobody is checking so come prepared with a good mask of you're concerned about COVID. Sweet place though. I highly recommend a visit.

Luke Knapke — Google review

Absolutely love taking my kids here. Such a great place to go and see a wide arrange of sea life. Being able to touch sharks and rays was awesome. Even though you have to schedule a time to start, the place was pretty busy. We still had a blast!!!

Justin McElwain — Google review

I mean wow! They have great pricing clean environment. Food is available along with drinks. Just an amazing place to visit. Little kids big kids and adult all love to visit. I suggest you become a member because one visit is not enough! Nothing like walking under giant sea turtles or through a tank of sharks and getting to touch a stingray. Great cheep family fun with handicap access everywhere. Clean stocked bathrooms available in multiple locations. Live entertainment. Multiple food locations with a variety of food to serve. Grab the family and a water bottle don't forget the sunscreen there is some areas that are exposed to the weather. Plan for the whole day because your not going to want to leave.

Opal — Google review

Favorite aquarium! The below the water views are amazing. Lots of variety, great touching stations, the stingrays ❤️, friendly staff. We went through twice and will definitely go back.

Driana Adkins — Google review

Amazing exhibit to go to. Saw so many different species, and it was worth it to do. I took my family, and we had a blast and made life-long moments. This is a good aquarium considering it's not by salt water. Totally amazing experience!

hunter tucker — Google review

This place was awesome! We arrived right when they opened at 10 and left by 11:45, so plan to stay for 1-2 hours. That included a short stop at Sharky cafe (restaurant about 3/4 of the way through). There are several opportunities to touch animals including sting rays, sharks, starfish, etc. For kids there are playgrounds, tunnels to crawl through and more. Animals look well cared for and tanks are clean.

Stacey Rusterholz — Google review

We love to visit Aquariums and Zoos. This aquarium is so neat. We prefer to visit on a weekday, the weekend is quite busy at times. I could watch the fish for hours. I think you could come every day and still see something new each day. A nice way to spend time with a loved one.

Mel K. — Google review

Been to the Newport Aquarium dozens of times over the years. Used to be a member but the membership lapsed when I never received a renewal notice. It's always a great learning experience with new critters and habitats. Reasonable admission. Parking is usually very easy. You have to be tolerant and patient because you're likely to encounter a lot of strollers and noisy kids in a confined area but, when I go, I spend the day. Week days are best and things tend to quiet down in the afternoon.Well organized by ecosystem. Many cool and unique species including reptiles, birds and amphibians. Lots of interactive opportunities including cleaner shrimp, rays, sharks and tide pool to name a few.Cafeteria at the midway point has a nice selection of options to choose from. Priced as expected.

Kenneth Hanf — Google review

We had a great time. Very interactive with animals, which was great for children. Also activities for children. The place was clean. The staff was very pleasant. Answering questions the children had about animals. We ended our vacation here at the last minute. We were going to the zoo but changed our minds. I'm so glad we did.

shannon tanner — Google review

This aquarium is very nice and as well themed and appointed as a high end theme park. The selection of sea life and number of hands on exhibits is impressive. Anyone young or old should be able to enjoy the aquarium.

Steven Hallmark — Google review

Had a great time at the aquarium theres a lot to look at and a lot of knowledge to be had. The restaurant inside was very busy when we where there so we did not go. If you are wanting to do an encounter of any kind get tickets days in advance or just plan on not doing it they will be sold out. The only thing that was a negative for me was the gift shop. We dropped quite a large chunk of change (I'm a sucker for animals and my kids know it) but they don't provide bags. I understand not having plastic bags and having reusable bags but trying to sell them to me after I just bought all the other stuff is annoying.

Jaalam Cole — Google review

I have been here a bunch over the last several years. It is always a nice trip. Lots of exhibits, tons of information and a clean environment all around. This time, it all seemed a little less...well...less. Still not a bad experience at all, it just seemed like most of the staff was disengaged and it was as if the wildlife was lessening and the technology is building. VR experiences and virtual tours have replaced true engagement with the people who help care for and conserve these creatures. I know it costs a LOT to keep places like this going - And you can't just go shopping for new exotic animals if one passes away or gets transferred. But it just felt a little lackluster this time. Maybe it was me, or maybe it was just an off day. I would still HIGHLY recommend a visit if you are in the area!

Travis Huber — Google review

What a cool place! We got through it quicker than expected but we had littles that weren't interested in reading all the great info they had for each tank. We went during the Mermaid exhibit. How cool! I felt like a little kid again! The ladies were super friendly and engaging to kids and adults alike. They even had a sit down photo opportunity with one of them. As well as one mermaid swimming in the sting ray touch pool where you could directly interact with a mermaid, in the water and they'd let the kiddos touch their tail (the sting rays were temporarily unavailable and not in the tank during this time). There was even a 3' tall tunnel in the tank so the kids could get the feeling of swimming underwater with them. In one of the coral reef walk through tunnels you could walk directly under a swimming mermaid. Definitely a unique experience. The highlight for the kids was the shark touch pool. Just make sure to wear short sleeves, the sharks are DEEP in the touch pool and the shark and the sea creature pools are FREEZING cold. Be aware though for tickets, the price fluctuate depending on the day you visit. Some days have longer hours than others and parking isn't free but it's a covered parking garage. The aquarium is in an outdoor shopping mall of sorts so be prepared to walk OUTSIDE from the parking garage to the aquarium even though the parking garage is covered. The aquarium had a cafe inside with surprisingly delicious, hot "fresh" food. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and it was delicious, even the personal pizza's crust had flavor. The prices were typical for a cafe in an aquarium. It's not cheap. If you don't want to eat there, just outside the entrance to the aquarium there are multiple food options and an ice cream shop, candy shop, etc. And brace yourself for the extensive gift shop that you have to walk through to exit. Definitely worth the stop, just be prepared for the cost, etc.

Melanie MacRae — Google review

It was one of the better aquariums I have been to and an excellent layout. Plenty of interactive things for people who are into that. The price was good for the experience I had. I would recommend anybody go here

Clean and well- spaced displays. Staff very knowledgeable and courteous. Great place for kids to learn about our ecosystem in a safe and comfortable environment during the week. Weekends tend to be quite crowded.

We had a great time at the Newport Aquarium! We went back in Decemeber for the Scuba Santa experience. My toddler absolutely loved her first visit! I was surprise on the number of activities for toddlers. There's coloring area, inside playground, and so much more for hands-on learning. As we were leaving, my daughter lost her security blanket, and they were so kind to mail it to us during the holidays. We enjoyed our visit and appreciate the great customer service. We will definitely be back!!

Kirstie Roberts — Google review

We had one of those amazingly perfect days that parents only get a few times a decade! Lol.We walked across the Purple People Bridge to go to the aquarium. The aquarium did not disappoint. We took our 8yr old twins. They were so excited and engaged throughout! We saw so many species and climates. The length of the stay was just perfect. They were still interested, but ready to go at the end. I feel like it was well worth the cost of admission. We would love to go back!

Erin FoxDoan — Google review

I took my family while on vacation. We had so much fun. There was so much to see and do at the aquarium. I was very satisfied with how many different creatures there were. I will definitely visit this aquarium again, and I highly recommend anyone in the country to do the same. You will not be disappointed

Patrick Elmore — Google review

We came from Indiana to check out Newport aquarium and we loved it! The white alligator was awesome! We also loved all the turtles and it was really clean! There were soooooo many people WITHOUT a mask on. I thought for sure it said online or on a sign that you needed to wear a mask. Either way we were wearing them to protect ourselves and good thing we did! We saw 1 other family with masks on. The employees all had masks but not customers. We really did enjoy our time though! It was worth the money we paid and there were tons of awesome animals there!

Ashley Faver — Google review

Fantastic aquarium, we all had a great time. Some of the fish we had never heard of or seen before. The pricing was appropriate, and all the staff was kind and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend a visit with the family!

Paul Fenrich — Google review

We had so much fun going through this aquarium! They have each section themed with the creatures on display. You can tell they care about the well-being of their animals because of the way they have the exhibits set up.It took about 2-2.5 hours to go all the way through with no kids. They have a lot of interactive areas for the kids, plus we got to pet sharks while we were there! We would highly recommend going, and it will be fun for the whole family!

brittny92 — Google review

Love this place so much. I've been twice in ten years, the staff and exhibits are wonderful. Tons of fish, huge aquariums you walk through in them, just super cool. Having a cafe halfway through is brilliant too, it's a lot to go through and being able to take a break and grab a bite to eat is nice. We did the penguin encounter as well and it was definitely worth it and supports the conservation efforts with all penguins.

Daniel Laird — Google review

We had such a great time visiting here! Not only is it a great aquarium that has cool tunnels and touch pools, but it is situated in a great plaza where you can spend the whole day! 10/10 recommend!

Chelsea G. S. Evans — Google review

Great layout and location with being right next to the river, has great views and photo opportunities. It's super kid friendly here, with lots to touch and crawl though especially the stingrays and play equipment. Really great food options and decent seating. Such a fun time!

Nicole Linsley — Google review

Lots of interesting displays, tanks, and fun facts. Waaaay too crowded on the weekend! Go during the weekdays!! We parked in the parking garage and were challenged to find signage to return to our car. Finally took the elevator instead of the stairs and that’s how we figured it out, but the elevator parking floor color buttons didn’t match up with where we parked, which was pretty confusing!I ordered discounted tickets ahead through AAA, which was convenient to bypass the lines!

Sherry Kenady — Google review

Was fun for date night and is fun for kiddos especially. The cafe inside and the souvenir shop are nice. They have a whole kid section and play area. The Levi area is a beautiful shopping area, there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. The area can be a whole day of activity.

Ty Forest — Google review

The facility is gorgeous and the animals are clearly well taken care of. There are beautiful displays and wonderful pieces of information as you move through and learn about all types of aquatic life. There are fun digital interactive sections for kids and a fun play area. Probably the best features are the shark and stingray petting tanks. Definitely some special lifetime moments to be had.The only downside to this experience is the cost. At $20-$25 per ticket, it gets spendy fast. There are some experiences that cost extra once inside, and the food court is definitely on the pricier side. Fortunately the petting tanks are included in the price of admission. You must buy your tickets in advance as people are given specific entry times. However, once you enter, you may stay as long as you like. I recommend going Monday through Thursday if you don't like crowds or linesIf you are willing to spend the money, this aquarium is an excellent place to visit

Kristyn Ruddiman — Google review

I did a penguin encounter and it was so great! I was the only one in it and had the penguins all to myself! I highly recommend!! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Ticketing is timed and the aquarium tickets are less the further ahead you you purchase. Also entrance to the aquarium is not included with the penguin encounter.

Kim Warren — Google review

Wow such a fun time! We went during our spring break and had such an amazing time. They had a ton of touch tanks where you could feel starfish and other mollusks. The big tank with the sea turtle and different sharks was incredible cool. The stingray pool was really fun, just make sure you’re not by someone who’s splashing the entire time.

Joe — Google review

Huge aquarium! We've been to Sealife a few times, this is at least 3-4x the size and sooo much better. We were here over 2 hours and didn't dawdle. My 8 year old loved the albino alligator and the sting ray and shark touch tanks. We also walked across the shark tank on the rope bridge! That was super cool! There were a lot of exotic fish species which was neat to see. The penguins were so cute! The gift shop was big. Highly recommend!

Donna Jo — Google review

Overall a wonderful time spent here. Lots to see with well themed areas. It took about 2 hours for us to walk through the whole place (when it was not crowded). You have to pay for parking, but it only cost us $6. Also nice area to walk around just outside with views of the river, restaurants and a movie theater.

David — Google review

This place is as close to scuba diving as you can get without getting wet atleast. Really great aquarium! Walking around and eating at a restaurant was equally enjoyable too. You will love the trip! We will be back again!

Charles Barlow — Google review

I’ve been coming to this aquarium since I was a kid and now I take my kiddos. It’s a beautiful place and easy to navigate. We enjoy coming during the school weekdays when it’s much less busy. It’s awesome seeing sharks and sea turtles up close. I would like to see the personal pictures cheaper. Is anyone actually paying $40 per pic because that’s ridiculous. Make it $15 and I would have purchased them. I’d also enjoy more play space for under 3 since my older child likes the play area but my toddler just has to wait on him to finish. The food there is priced reasonable and decent. Overall, we love coming here but please make pictures more affordable!

Bobbi M — Google review

Overall a nice aquarium, parking can be annoying and it closes a bit early in my opinion. A great variety of fish, frogs, and reptiles however some of the enclosures were empty or didn't have labels for some of the fish in them. Really enjoyed the tank that let shrimp eat dead skin off your hands. Make sure to purchase tickets multiple days in advance, they get quite pricey if you purchase the day of your trip.

Chap Sumerauer — Google review

This is an amazing place to come with your family and enjoy seeing so many cool creatures my favorite was the shipwreck part. There were these big green eels and a perfect picture opportunity. You get the chance to touch a string ray and a star fish and some other cool things like a shark. So many dome tanks you walk through where all the fish are swimming above you. They even have the best for last walking over the shark bridge at the end of the aquarium right before the gift shop to get a souvenir on your way out.

It is a rather large park with lots to do. We went just for the playground. It was decent. Kind of lack luster considering the size of the park. They did have a small splash pad which was closed for the season. My kids had fun but its not a playground I would go out of my way to go to.

Wonderful park with a bike path over a mile long, splash pad for kids, soccer fields, lake where you can fish, playground, Christmas lights, and baseball fields.

Went here during the hot air balloon festival. It was reasonable and fun. They had airplane rides by the butler county warbirds which the museum is near by and great to go spend some time there. They have helicopter rides and tethered hot air balloon rides as well sponsored by someone else. The car show was cool and so was the air show. The shops that set up most was local with great merchandise and nice owners. I enjoy coming here every year. It just keeps getting better.

My son and I enjoy the splash pad and park. The skate park in the back is very nice too. We play soccer here during the week and its a very family friendly park. It offers awnings to cook out, gather, or even a birthday party. It also has bike trails and a pond to feed the ducks. It can be very busy at times but still a nice place to have fun with your kids.

Great place to shop, and walk around outside. Plus all the deals you find are fantastic

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! Amazing place to get all your schools clothes needs. Stores and shops with amazing deals as far as the eye can see. It’s like the Disneyland of shopping!! Got 2 pairs of converse for the price of one!! We enjoyed a nice meal from the food court. Only thing this place is missing is a SMOOTHIE & Protein SHOP! We will be coming back ❤️🛍

Awesome outlet! Tons of stores! Clean and safe place to shop! Such nice stores and good food court with clean bathrooms and stores. All the staff here were friendly. All around awesome place to shop!

Very nice Outlet with all the stores I love: Tory Burch, Polo, Lane Bryant and Crocs! It’s the Christmas season but each store was more than staffed to handle the crowds. Restroom was very clean. Plenty of parking.

Neat, clean mall. Probably the best outlet mall that I have been to in the US. All the stores have some great deals this time of the year. I will definitely visit again.

Praveen Meduri — Google review

A wide variety of stores to match just about everyone's taste. Stores and grounds have all been kept up well. The stores are complimented by a food court to take a moment to recharge. Bathrooms were surprisingly very clean. I would confidently recommend this place to just about anyone.

I shopped at Children's place for my daughter today. Their long sleeve Tees are on sale for $5.99 they have jeans 👖 for $11.99. They have holiday clothes for Halloween outfits for the kiddos too. The clothes are so cute and affordable. My favorite place to shop for my daughter. They have coats and sweaters and boots and hair accessories too. If you have children you need to make this store your first place to shop.! It's so very affordable.

Great place to shop in a outdoor mall setting without the compactness of a traditional mall layout. The open concept is great on sunny days. And has roof coverage in some areas for when it rains. Plenty of birds and people mingling together in the plazas. And also has play areas for kids and stores for people of all ages can enjoy.

Good location but the deals are few and far between. Lots of the big brand shops but the deals aren’t that great. Lots of 50% or 60% off the entire store but the regular price is so high that the discounts are negligible. You’ll have a lot of variety but finding a great deal is tough.

DK KD — Google review

A lot of stores, Adidas and Nike had good selections. Lids was also nice but small. The bathroom ls were dirty. Plenty of parking. Overall, a good experience.

Jr Fern — Google review

Didn't see a lot of great deals. Some stores seemed to have the regular price on things instead of outlet prices or sizes were limited. Lindt chocolate is always a good place to stop by and Aunt Annie's pretzels.

Frednando Bothwell — Google review

Nice outdoor mall for outlet shopping. Lots of parking, and the spaces are big to fit your SUV or truck. It can become a bit of a madhouse on certain days and in certain stores, so plan ahead! I would give this 5 stars but Prime Outlets are practically cookie-cutter across the US, don't really see much that makes it unique from the PO outside Chicago, for example. Masks are required in the Bubble Tea place, but others don't enforce/require.

I love going here because there are so many stores and you can find so many spectacular deals... especially at Christmas! I really like checking in with the kiosk that sells sheets because they are wonderful and they come in all sizes and colors for a reasonable price. Two thumbs up!👍🏾👍🏾

Went on a Tuesday morning (2 weeks before Christmas) and it was wonderful! Just enough people shopping to not be too crowded and all the employees were in great moods! Looking forward to going again sometime soon!

It is clean with lots of places to sit an watch people. Nice area for children to play. Food court is a bit on the expensive side and some of the shops you might as well go to retail stores. Wish that they had a Vera Bradley Factory Outlet that is the one store I normally buy a lot from.

Sue Kerr — Google review

It was busy!!!!! Between tax free weekend and back to school, there were lines to get into some of the more popular stores. But it is a great mall with just about anything you'd need! It almost seems like they need a parking garage or something because it took us a long time to get a parking spot. It could be different at different times because like I mentioned.... Back to school.

Mark N — Google review

Great place to go shopping and walk around.

May Zaporteza — Google review

Love this mall. We found what we were looking for and more. Nice outdoor area for kids to run for a bit since it's mostly for adults. Tired kids are good kids.

Lorretta Kendrick — Google review

Plenty and varieties of premium brand names such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, Crocs, Lactose, etc that attract lots of customers, especially on the weekend. My wife took us here on a Sunday and it was jammed packed, and even the parking lots are big, still tough to find a closer parking spot, especially being handicapped like me. Lots of sales on many great products, and our kids enjoyed the shopping today. Restrooms were clean. Not an5 stars rating today because the food court selections were not good, and prices are a bit high. Highly recommend. We be back sometime soon. Thank.

Cincinnati Premium Outlets is a shopper's paradise! With a wide range of stores and premium brands, it's a great destination for fashion enthusiasts. The outlet layout is convenient, making it easy to explore. Ample parking adds to the convenience, and the variety of shops like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Under Armour, Columbia, North Face and many more, caters to diverse tastes. Whether you're into fashion, accessories, or home goods, this outlet is a top-notch shopping destination in the Cincinnati area. Highly recommended!

Outlet stores have really changed in the last number of years. They used to be a place to get some really good deals, now they're a place where you might pay more than normal somewhere else, and extremely rare, you'll find some good deals.

Robert Biddle — Google review

Each time I go to Cincinnati, I pay a visit to the Premium Outlet along I75, but for a limited number of good shops (2 to 3 max). The rest I don't judge. Apart from the food court, that is not the sexiest I have seen

Claude — Google review

My goodness this place was so beautiful at night with all the Christmas lights. Tonight was our 1st time here. Found some good deals. They have such a huge variety of shopping. Something for everyone! We will definitely be back!

Home of the Western & Southern Open, this complex includes 4 tennis stadiums, a food court & shops.

The LFTC welcome fans of tennis for novice and professional competitions. Nice and clean area. Great entertainment for family and friends to enjoy from local artists and other.

Great experience here. This was my first tennis tournament that I've been to and it was awesome. Some really big name tennis players come here to play tennis. I got to see Rafael Nadal play here. But one of the cool parts is that you can walk around the complex and see some of the smaller courts and see some people play up close. Like REAL close. I was about 10 yards from Jamie Murray who was playing doubles. Really cool experience. They also have a bunch of food venues set up in here and some small shops that you can check out. Overall great place and experience. Worst part might be parking. You have to park in the grass and walk a ways to get there but even that wasn't too bad.

Tennis complex includes 4 tennis stadiums, a food court. Very well designed and maintained. Has large seating areas both covered and outside with umbrella seating. Several food options in the court area and food is of high quality and prices are not bad. Number of bars also for drinks. And of course it hosts ATP Tennis! 🎾

This was my first time going to one of these events and I had a great time. Staff was very helpful and kind. The prices for food and drinks were a little heightened but overall reasonable and consistent across vendors. There was a cohesive vibe and beauty to the way the whole complex was laid out. I did not get to go more than one day but the experience was overall very fulfilling.

Great experience if you love pickleball! The place was rocking. Got to meet some of the stars 🌟. They had food ,drinks, great parking. Also great seating for all to watch. You could get up close to the players. The only thing amd had nothing to do with the place was so little advertisem*nt was done for this event. Hopefully this will not detour the APP from coming back next year. I will be playing next year at thus event,of course at the lower level. CINCINNATI has some great places to place and great players ,I hear that alot more places will be built and are being built.

Loved the Western and Southern Open, we've come there every year for the last 10-15 years. The ability to see matches and practices up close is priceless. The new All-Inclusive Club is amazing with great food and drinks, AC indoors and nice outdoor seats with an awning. It replicates the football suite experience but more social. We'll be heartbroken if the tournament leaves town and doesn't start a new tournament at this incredible facility.

While Wimbledon (and The All England Lawn Tennis Club) boasts of holding true to its original identity of “tennis in an English garden” . . .The Lindner Family Tennis Center, too, should boast of being host to some of the best tennis in the world in the truly stunning setting of the great American Midwest! The clouds, the sunsets, and the venue with it’s beautifully maintained landscaping . . . are nothing short of stunning! And lastly — my favorite thing is the unbelievably close proximity you can be to some of the best tennis players in the world during the W&S Open! And only two weeks before the US Open!

Evan Fowler — Google review

Really nice Tennis center with centre court having nice seating with good views. Run mostly by volunteers everywhere. The weird thing is all of them have different uniforms depending on what they're doing, so some of them can't answer questions like where's the section or gate etc. But it's nice to see world class players this close as this is a Masters 1000 tournament.

V. C. T. — Google review

Great facility!! Clean and well organized. The bathrooms could use an updating but for a Tennis tournament it really is a nice experience though it can get crazy between matches with all the people and trying to get souvenirs is almost impossible!! But it is a great place to watch the matches

David C — Google review

Had a great time at the Cincinnati Open. Facilities were clean and conveniently located. Stadiums set up great for spectators. ALL STAFF were very friendly and helpful.

K C — Google review

I really hope they will be able to keep the Western and Southern Open here for many years to come. It is a great facility for that tournament and it would be a shame if the tournament is moved away.

IndyKevin317 — Google review

What a fantastic venue! Not too big or small, allows you to get real close to your favorite tennis Stars! The food was fantastic!

John Otto K — Google review

The venue is really nice. The grounds were clean, the courts are arranged well, and everyone was friendly. Centre Court photos are from Section 308, row K.

Matt Schaefer — Google review

The staff and volunteers were accommodating and friendly. The owner(s) made quite a few major upgrades, which made attending the Western & Southern tournament a very enjoyable experience. Can't wait to go again.🎾
